Hi all, i am from India, just applied for Canadian PR with family. I have been asked for a security deposit or funds of 17,011 CAD in my account, as well told to carry the same amount with me to Canada and declare it too in the port for sustaining myself and my family for 3 months or so.  Is it true???

Do we need to produce income tax papers and salary slips of the last 3 months???

What is the time frame for processing if the papers are submitted in October under 3131 skilled worker category???

You need to show the funds in any bank account in your name. You should take the money with you to Canada, when moving for settlement by way of Cash + draft/TC .Means some cash between 3,000/- to 5000/- plus draft or TC.

Usually processing may take ONE year or more.
