I have my funds to show at airport, but can't i send it to myself from my home country via western union and show them the certified documentation from Western Union on entry. This is for security only when leaving my home country

If you don't have a Canadian bank account yet, I suggest for you to buy traveler checks, they are the most safety way to get money with you, just make sure to declare them at every point of border crossing if htey are over $10,000 Dollar.

Other may is opening an account in Canada while you are overseas, just get in touch with the bank you may want to have for your savings and they will let you know what the requirements are for it

I guess they accept balance accounts only from US banks
