Good question!  I haven't submitted yet, so I'll be interested in what others have done.

First of all, don't misrepresent!  I wrote what I have (approx. CAD 5,000).  But on the DOCUMENT CHECKLIST (for Buffalo), for Item 11, I wrote in "Not applicable."

but i have experiance and i want to claim points for it so i have to show it; on the other hand i have some money but its less than the min.(around 12000) so i am worried if i show less money to them and if they raised any quary in future than??

one more thing they just mention in the guides that u dont have to show proof of your funds if u have arranged employment but they didn`t tell that u dont have to have funds either

so lets wait what other say

If you have AEO you do not need to show proof of funds. This however does not mean you cannot take whatever you have with you. Again, when they assess your application the AEO overrides the "proof of funds" factor.
Note that the proof of funds is a must have criteria for people without AEO but does not yield any points.

OK Bobby B - so we know we don't have to show proof of funds.  But the Visa Office Specific Instructions does not seem to recognize this...

(1) Schedule C asks how much you have.  How do you respond?  (A) tell them how much you have, or (B) Not applicable?  (We know that leaving it blank is not an option...)

(2) The Checklist (Item 11, Settlement Funds) in the Buffalo Guide does not say "If applicable" (as do Items 9 and 10 for example).   Again, merely ignoring it does not seem wise - how to respond?

N/A - Since you have proof of AEO. Of course, that's why you have the option B
