Hello Friends,
This week I received 2nd AOR - my file number from London Visa Office arrived yesterday. It came by postal mail. They have mentioned that it takes on average 12 months to process and advised me to contact only if I do not hear from them in 8 months. I really hope that London Visa Office should gather more speed and process the cases faster.

I am checking status using file no. sent by CIO, and it's not showing received full application by local visa office... How much time it takes to update to document received, any idea? My documents were received by Buffalo office on 24 MArch....

Dear All,
Can any one tell me about ecas system? My full docs transfer to Delhi CHC on 08/03/2010 and received my full docs on 11/03/2010. In last week my ecas was showing "Received by Visa Office" but in this week its showing that they are not having any record of my file or my file is not in process etc.?
Can any one tell me who they are experiencing this problem or what is the reason of it?

From last one week I am trying and input my data correctly but the message is same? Can you please let me know when did you check your status last? and is it showing your file status as "Received by Visa Office? Which is your Visa Office?

hello! you must have typed the wrong file number. did you put the file numbser sent by your embassy? if yes, then maybe your VO did not update it yet.. hope next week will be good news to us Dear ash,

hi ash! as far as i know, no one can really tell how the visa office verify your papers. they have their own way of verifying. they can either call the personal number, or the office number. has your ecas status changed to "in process"? ven't heard anyone who was asked for medical exam without the 2nd AOR. if you didn't get it before your med request, you must have missed it... you can request the visa office to send one again.. Hello guys...
I sent my full application exactly three months after I received a positive response from CIO and after gathering all the necessary documents. I even have to retake my IELTS since I am not satisfied with the first result as it brought my total points to one point down the passing...So I take the IELTS for the second time and atlast I did it...By the way, I have no formal review on this.
On March 11 London Visa Office received my documents and I can now access the update thru the Ecas...
