Munni,
as your BF'd is set for a later date, there isnt anything you can get from your CAIPS now. We cant stop things we do in our daily lives. live and enjoy ! seniors say that BF'd date is the final date before a file must reach a decision. they also say that if someone's BF'd date has passed but the status is still is in process, the VO has opened the file and put another BF'd date in future.
the news of getting MR by any of the Pre June 2010 applicants would soon spread in Bangladeshi threads. done stay absent from this forum.
This is the reply from London VO:
Since you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , your application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications under this program during this period. However, If you wish to withdraw your application, you may be eligible for a refund of your processing fees. * Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected. * During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision. * This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.
============================
So I dont expect anything to happen in 2011. 0213 and finance/accounting managers have flooded Canada. They dont want more of them at this moment. keep in touch !

But according to OP6, BF'd date is actually when the visa officer will look at the file again i.e the processing will begin on that day again. Until then, the file will be held up.

mmh93,
that is what OP6 says, but what I said was the statement upon observation by the seniors of this forum. I had my BF'd in March'11 but since then nothing happened, so according to the seniors, my VO opened my file on that day, checked on the quota available for the year 2011 for NOC 0213 or all the NOC's as a whole, found that its full for until some months/years, put another BF'd date and sent back the file to its place.
Munni,
this info is applicable for all the CHC's. they have like 144,000 pending cases who sent their app before 26 June 2010, they had 13,000+ applications after June 2010 [ cap 20,000 ], they will have like 6000-8000 apps after July 01, 2011 on their hands. they have an yearly capacity of finalizing 55,000 applications so they'd need around 3 years in total to clear all the files. they might accelerate their operations like then did in 2008-2010.
The good thing is that its not too late, may be 2-3 months more when they'd be done with completing the finalization of Post June 2010 files as lots of this slot are getting MR's now. recently I heard that CIC would be dealing with old and new files at a ratio of 2:1 ;cases submitted on or after December 1, 2010.
much to see now !
