Hi lifeincanada,

Point 12-clearly states that for FSW, pay the processing fees to the CIO(which u had already paid).
Click the payment instructions link for FSW under Point-12 where u will see detailed explanation.

hello everyone,

I received my second AOR form visa office more than 6 months ago, and the processing time in that office is 9 months but my status has not even changed to "in process". I know that 9 months is retrospective and may not apply to my case, but does anyone have any idea how much longer it might take? (could it take another year for example? cause I have to plan for my next september).

i have submitted my application to the Buffalo office in January 2010. They forwarded my file to the New York office on 24th Feb. 2010 and i submitted my medicals on 28th may 2010.

Seems like the New York Office did not recieve the medicals from the Ottawa office until September 30,2010 which I saw online on the Application Status.

I have now been waiting for getting the letter for submission of my passport for the visa stamping for 5 months. I have sent lots of fax to New York office but have not recieved any sort of updates from them. I would appreciate if anyone can help me provide me some sort of alternate way of contacting the New York office to get the update. There is no other way I know of contacting the New York office except for FAX which is becoming a big concern for me.

My work permit is expiring in feb 2011 and hence I need my PR asap.

Please guys I would really appreciate some help.

GUYs...

FINALLY i also got the good news yesterday...... I got MY 2nd AOR after 5 Months of waiting..... they mentioned that they are reviewing the file and will update ..... GOOD LUCK TO ALL and thanks for all the support from everybody.

One more thing I would like to check is.... how long will it take for the next step from now???

I got my 2nd AOR from Buffalo on Oct 20.The Status on estatus is still "Received by VO".

Any idea when they change to "In PRocess" ??

Gentlemen,

I'm in the biggest victim in the list, I have submitted my application in May,  2010, so far even I didn't get the file number.

Can anyone clarify the issue what is going on? I have to still wait or I have to write a letter to visa office?
