Welcome Harpreet.....
You situation is normal, do not worry.... the email you have received from CIO is your 1st AOR and no need to contact them!!and you were right when you sent your docs based on this email.
What you can do now is to wait till you have your E-Cas be changed to "Received by Visa office" then you will receive your 2nd AOR.

Thanks for replying. by the way, Is there any trend in time taken to get into status of "Received by Visa office". approx 2 Months or more than that ? |

Hi Behabitu,, I think there is something wrong with your E-CAS!!!! did your E-CAS changed earlier to "Received by visa office"  As I am sorry to tell you that if your E-CAS changed to "Visa Office - Eligibility Review Complete" before "In Process" means rejection!!! I knew that from the history of some applicants here in this forum. Waiting for your reply to know exactly the situation and the best way to deal with. Being able to Aplly PR was something so lucky for me and 1st AOR was just on time,
but now I am just getting tired or nervous.
Hopefully my employer would stay patient.. what is the point of AEO if it takes 1 year or + to hire foreigner. hmm.

Hi Abdul Rahman, Regarding the 2nd AOR, they will give you a new file number which can be used to check your E-CAS as well as for any communications. Also they have mentioned in it that if you don't get any further communications within 8 months, you can contact them. So it is considered mainly as an acknowledgment of receiving your full documents. if they will need any additional documents, you will receive a another letter from them. or they can request these documents with the medicals. Good luck |
