I think Sydney is one of the slowest VO! Ive got a friend in the Phil, they have applied just a couple months before me and now they got PPR! and me? its been 2 1/2 months since my 2nd AOR...

Hi Tegnus, Do u mean they (Sydney) stopped processing applications till January? so we might be waiting for nothing untill early next yr?OMG! I want to take the CRNE asap..although i haven't started my review yet but its just taking sooooooo lonngggg! |

I think they still process applications in normal order, no worries there. Just for those who should get PPR and VISA they will not issue it until December 2010/January 2011. |

Hi bro
My letter says same. But i have seen Sydney cases normally rake 10 to 12 months normally, once we have in process status then it doesn't take that long to get medicals. I am expecting atleast ten months for whole procedure after second AOR. So we have to wait for in process first. Once we will get the medicals then we will be able to know that our application have passed the main stage of processing. Then what ever time it takes, it won't be that stressful.

Yes they can.

Good morning, The reference number of your application being processed in our office is: B055180296, please quote this number on all correspondence. If your spouse is in the Philippines when you are required to complete the medical examination we will send specific instructions for her. If an interview is required it will be conducted in our office in Sydney, Australia. Other Visa Offices overseas are unable to conduct interviews on our behalf. Regards,[/color] |

lloydnina, by that I think they mean - application is received and process is moving forward - they don't give any information at what stage it it is. But still it's OK because you know they got your documents. There is not much we can do at this time to speed up this process, but we can read and get as much as possible information to prepare our self for life in Canada. |
