I have NOT noticed any updates for damascus applicants FAMILY/ SKILLED

As for skilled applicants/ Manila, I noticed some movements, Congrats Silverfox, Mba you have the same start date for In process, I hope you hear from them soon.
as for new delhi, manila and buffalo applicants I have noticed a lot of updates and PR

Only I've noticed the issuance of 2nd AOR from Damascus in the recent weeks.

Hi kamal and mba,

yes, nothing at all,well probably one of the officers who play a key-role in making decisions  is taking a long maternity leave, or going to Hawaii, or got sick of the whole damned printing out visas for middle Easterns.

the last PR for Damascus applicants was printed two months ago,not fair, I know.

one more thing, there are around 10 to 12 applicants for pr in the FC, that is what i collected from three main forums for canada immigration, none of them is moving since two months.


on the other hand, I have tracked some applicants in the period of late 2009 early 2010, some of them were asked for a more docs, some for interviews, now people who where asked for further docs were not called for interviews, and their cases were finalized shortly after getting the requested docs, sometimes in the same day the applicant submits these in person to the embassy in damascus, in worst cases 1 to 2 months after getting the documents.

I got sick of waiting, and as you said kamal, applying for PR means that you already planned every thing based on that, work , family, social life , even your habits, because happy me I am going to Canada .

I got two work offers, and one employer waiting me since may, I dont have the potential to work here, total paralysis.

PR in Skilled worker class is a lottery. You must not schedule your life based on a lottery.
Do things as you used to do or would do had there been no application lodged by you. Peace and Happiness is important. Canada is not the End of everyone's fates.

it is not always the same case for everyone
they requested documents on June 9 from me and we send it in few days by super fast mail, email and nothing yet has happened

you are so right we are all waiting
if i were you I will accept the job offer yes you want to wait and see but wait for what and when which none of us know, get the offer  and start working and in worse case you get your visa  you will show up here in canada land see your options and if the job you have in your home country is a million dollare job go back finish it and then come and settle for good

 i have been holding a million plan for that to finish but not any more
life is still going and as jnathan said you are still there so instead of only waiting why not wait and do the best you can
trust me it is hard but I find it easier when you are busy working or studying while waiting
you are almost done  (tomorrow or after or another month ) so good luck again and have a great weekend

Both offers are in canada, Canadian employers seem to be more comfortable dealing with us as permanent residents than on work permits.

anyhow, I have applied for a Labor market opinion, which is essential for a work visa application, since two months for one of the jobs, and my application is still pending,

pending is almost every where I go,

add to that the suffering of not seeing my wife for 6 months now,

we deserve a reply after that long wait. my canadian police clearance took a month, I wonder if the background check takes longer,since both are run by almost the same agencies, I doubt it, probably its done, and documents are all there,

I need to find out what the word "queue" exactly means.

There is nothing new in my status, but I noticed something in the table that I hope you can fix, I received my second AOR from Damascus on April 7th, please fix this date on the next update, and thank you for your efforts.
I really do hope things will move faster for all of us, this is becoming frustrating.
