Hi All,

This is a thread for all FSW Applicants who have sent (or are planning to send) full documentation to New Delhi Visa Office in August 2010.

Since each Visa Office has its own trend and processing times, it is better to create threads for specific CHCs. Therefore, this thread is only for the New Delhi visa office applicants who are submitting their full documentation in the month of August.

hi seniors i got my first AOR on 26 july, and planning to send document soon but i have some queries and need ur help


1. i dont have appointment letter but have experience certificate with job responsibilities.
2. What is university manuscript ?
3. what is reference letter?

Congrats on receiving the AOR!
You should use the New Delhi document checklist as the cover letter along with a copy of the AOR email received from Nova Scotia.
If you have made or need to make any changes to the forms that you submitted, please prepare a cover letter highlighting the changes made.

Congrats for the AOR!
1) Appointment letter or your employment contract is important to establish the employee-employer relationship. A work experience letter indiciates the nature of your work - specifically the job responsibilities. But if you have been working with an employer, you would have signed an employment contract.
2) Univeristy transcript is a document that states all your marks received during the period of study. It is made by the University and needs to be provided in a sealed envelope.
3) Reference letter is what you have already - the document that states your detailed job responsibilities and is signed by the HR or your immediate supervisor.

You need to send the bank draft payable to the Canadian High Commission for the "Right of permanent residence fee" for yourself and all accompanying family members above 22 years. Please check the following site:

Please organize the full documents in the order in which the New Delhi checklists lists them. It is good to create an index if you have multiple job contracts, appointment letters, or educational documents. The bottomline is that you'd like to make it easy for the visa officer to access the document and view it. Avoid staples if you can and use paper clips instead. Whereever it is best to staple documents together, do that - but don't overdo it! Notarized documents of any date is fine as long as they are notarized by the required personnel.

Hi my  Full set of documents were received on 30-6-10 in CHC Delhi, which is almost equivalent to August :-) , so i thought of asking question here
My e-case status show "pending review"?
a) How much time it will take in pending review to move to inprocess, no update till yet, i am so much worried about this.
b) what does this pending review means ?

Hey Champ_indian

Congrats on submitting your full documents. Well, mine have been received too. But the status still shows CIO Eligibility Review Complete.

I am not sure how soon pending review will change to inprocess...but some of the trackers from April/May suggest that status change to in process is taking 3+ months. Well, I wish you the best for the next step.
