thanks forum mates! hindi nawala address ko although hindi kasi ako nag check nung saturday. friday yung last check ko ng ecas RBVO pa with address tapos yesterday, sunday nung nag check kami ng anak ko In Process na.. Dont worry cath sunod-sunod na tayo.. with God's grace!

Magtatanong lang po baka some of you have experienced this. Last month we had to update the CEM our status and we are being asked to submit updated forms. Included is Additional Family Background info for the principal and depndnt, I just realized that my youngest brother's birthdate is incorrect;must be the secretaries from the agency who did the forms gave us the wrong form as we asked them to re-do for the same error..

The month and day typed is my father's. I will have to correct it of course for the reason If God permits and we'll have the visa, I won't be able to sponsor him because of the wrong date provided in the form. DO we need to provide an explanation and attach my brother's birth certificate or just correct it then mention in the covering letter about the change in date?

My husband is the primary applicant.

hello, in my point of view it's better to write an explanation letter on why it did happened. Make it informative or detailed as possible, then have it notarized. Also attached all pertinent documents that will support the facts about your explanation such as Birth Certificates of your brother and father. Make sure you'll be able to "convince" the CEM that your stating all the truth. When I submitted my full documents more than a year ago, I have so many notarized explanation letters due to some issues that I thought would affect the scrutiny process or should I say possible causes that CEM will doubt my application (e.g. my mother has no official birth certificate coz she has no records in their time since she's a product of post World War II. Her birth certificate is needed in my application because it's a support as proof of relationship with a relative, that she is the brother of my uncle who is a Canadian citizen). Hope this would help.

my status changed to IP last Feb 29,2012 with RBVO details and without my address. Yesterday I've checked my ecas, it's still the same except that my address is back.

.   What happened is nakopya yung month and day ng birthday ng dad ko,same page ng family information,the year itself ay tama po.i will just incde a copy of his birth cert.

Hi Cath! Pareho tayo..Bumalik na din yung address ko without any changes..RBVO pa rin..Pero yung kakilala ko, nung bumalik yung address nya, ff day, nag DM sya..
