same tyu pisces waiting din kame ng 2nd AOR, pwede kayang magsend ng email sa CEM Sa Jan 6 or next week para magfollow up kung natanggap nila? masyado akong tensionado at baka hindi nakarating sa correct department yung papeles namin. O mag antay na lang?

kakalungkot naman 6 mos na ang waiting time ng MR, matatapos na ako ng live in caregiver program ko sa May at inaasahan ko pa naman by May or June MR na kame.At kapag MR na uuwi na ako pero mukhang huhu malabo na ata, ngayon  talagang pinagiisipan ko kung igigive up ko na tong Caregiver at umuwi na lang at sa pinas na lang magantay pero nanghihinayang pa din ako eh! huhuhu God will make a way! Godbless sating lahat! :0

Matagal pa naman ang May, baka mag gear up na VO ngayon.
I think having diploma in care would also boost your chances of getting quick job later on..so try to finish it before going back home.

Hi jho111, we can still use our SSS in the future. But now what we can do for additional funds is get the lump sum of our PAG-IBIG (just a suggestion)

Hello, thanks sa mga reply nyo and for confirming that mine is not an isolated case saying 6 months waiting period. My dilemma actually is that my work permit expires April 2011, given they are quoting me 6 months and the possibility that by April (which I hope not) I am still waiting, does this mean I cannot work further and have to go home? Would any of you know if there is such a thing as an implied status for PR applicants? where kapag mey application in process you are allowed to stay in the country? or is this just for when you have a pending LMO/WP application? Grabe nman tlaga, I have no worries going home, I am more concerned about the fact na mey babalikan pako dito. kasi shempre my employer would be willing to hire me continuously, kaso if I have to go home, they might not be willing to wait for me until when my papers are approved. just keeping my faith strong. nothing is impossible with God and HE IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

I'm not an expert on this and I'm just stating my opinion.  So here it is.

1.  There is no implied PR applicants.  Once your work permit expires, I think you really have to leave or risk being deported.
2.  Never assume the 6 months processing time.  Like the AOR said, the VISA processing is finished on the average of 6 to 12 months.  We can never really know how the process will turn out.
3.  My advice is get another work permit while your there.  I think you previously said that they are willing to give you another.

We are expecting to receive our AOR after a month we submitted our full docs. But since the processing is slowing down now, in my view, maybe we will give them grace period of 2 weeks after we will contact them. Patience lang talaga 'to. Let's wait and keep praying. I know God has already set His own timeline regarding our application.

uu asa ibang bayan din ako, andito ako sa Ottawa ngayon lungkot nga eh kasi malayo sa family kaya gustong gusto ko ng umuwi hehe...though kasama ko mga kapatid ko at mom, ang tagal pala ng MR ngayon... pero Patience is a virtue and God will do what is best for me and my family.

thanks pisces, I agree with you based on the time line of the other FSW applicants. i'll remove the word worry in my head for the meantime. i'll wait until 2 weeks, to God be the glory! Godbless!
