hi silentfan... i think that is CEM's standard reply to queries regarding the status of our applications... i also sent them queries on my status 90 days, 120 days and 180 days from the time i received my 2nd AOR and that has been their reply for each query... tapos on my 3rd inquiry (180 days) they added a line not to email them again unless there are changes in the details of my application like change in address or additional family members... so hindi na ako ulit nag follow up kc baka makulitan na... hehehe... though nag change to "in process" ang ecas ko a few days after my 3rd inquiry.... yon nga lang di pa rin nag change ung details ng ecas ko... same details pa rin as that of RBVO...

hi there july4.. batchmate. Yup, i think, its the CEM standard reply po. I just based naman my speculations to Qorax's posted details re: In process changed. But prior to the date that i did a follow up, last January 20 pa, in my ecas kasi nakalagay na, we reviewed and started processing .....etc. so, i was afraid na baka may notice na pala ako for something ( additional docs, etc) kaya nag email na ako sakanila.

Anyway, sana nga maka receive na tayo ng hinihintay nating MR kahit pa wala na sa current NOc lists ang ating mga profession.

hi andreavonn, i think po, if your office number have changed, better informed the cem right away. MAke a formal letter, telling them of the changes. Or might as well...secure an updated certificate of employment with UPDATED CONTACT NUMBER of your office.Yun lang po sa tingin ko, so as to be safe in case the vo might do the background check.

Kapag mag update ba ako sa CEM na kunwari nadagdagan na ang number of work experience ko.....mabibigyan ba ako ng additional points?
Kasi nung magpasa ako ng papers 1 year lang work ko, eh ngaun 2 years na..
And kakagraduate lang ng asawa ko
kapag nagpasa ba ako ng diploma at TOR ng husband ko mabibigyan ako ng additional adaptability points.
Criminology po natapos ng husband ko..4 year course.
Kasama po sia sa application ko..kaso nung magpasa ako ng documents nag aaral pa sia..eh ngaun graduate na.

I don't know about that.  But I guess there's no harm in updating your file.  Mas favorable yan sa inyo dahil additional points.  Pero try to submit a diploma also.

Hello! We applied last Nov 2010 under NOC 3152 but sad to say when I checked my ecas last march 25, it says DECISION MADE. I have not received any letter from VO yet although I have sent an enquiry last week already. There are also 3 friends of mine who got the same status on ecas. Hoping it's an error, if not the end.

hi chinay... don't worry po. I agree with sir pfcastelo , that there's no harm in trying to update your documents. Usually naman, embassy appreciates all updates of information ng mga applicants nila, especially its legitimate naman and would be beneficial on your part and application po. Just go ahead. By the way, support it with complete documentation po ah. para ayos lahat.
Coz, if I'm on your case, I'll do the same... update the embassy with my information.

you're welcome. You send it to the Visa Section, FSW unit  ng CEM po.  Wala ka bang agent/immigration consultant  to assist you ?

I never thought that we will be waiting this long...April na...huhuhuhu.
Have heard about the parliament issue?..Parang it says something about regulating the number of immigrants arriving in canada...
Kaya siguro na delay na tayong lahat.
Mas malaki problem ng mga nagmedical last quarter of 2010..madami ring pending..no visa pa sila.

I read in the London Visa thread that other applicants got a DM status because they already migrated our application to CGMS (tama ba ko?).  Its their new monitoring system.  In order to transfer it to the new system, they have to DM all pending application.  Wait for the official word muna.

Guys! The long wait is finally over and done with. Today after 2 weeks of receiving my 2nd AOR, I got a letter from snail mail from the designated immigration officer, Mr. J. Tan-Go. The letter basically had something to do with his JD (job description) and yes he is not satisfied thus application was refused.


It isnt a glitch from the ecas, as I hope it would be.   

Do you have any idea how long it takes for them to return our application and re-apply again?

I'm sorry to hear about your application.

I have no idea about the time line of the documents to be returned.  Yes you can re-apply at once.  For FSW, you NOC needs to be included in the latest list and the cap should still be open.  You can also try PNP or look for an employer.

Don't give up just yet.
