Brothers
i have one question.
I made the DD from a Currency exchange company as i dont have foreign currency account. i gave them equivalent amount of 1100CAD$. and in return they gave me a bank draft in the name of reciever journal of canada.
can anybody advice how should i contact the bank to know if BD was encashed or not. that was not my account that was exchange company account...secondly the bank was a local bank(SONERI BANK), can anybody advice how should i know the status.

i dont know y i made a big mistake. actually i called canadian high commision they told me to send their.they dint told me that first u got initially approval then send to london thats y.now i m worried about my file return ...dont know when will i get n re apply.....pray for me |

the receiver general for canada, u did journal??or typing mistake only??ur local bank can ask theier main they get the information |

since you have decided to wait, i would like to opine that you should send a letter via Fax (do not email them) to london VO stating your name, address, email address, date application sent to london VO , & what mistake you made.
