I have got my passport renewed, how to update it to CIC? DO they accept a scanned copy uploaded through via " https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi" OR We need to send them a notarized copy of the new passport along with covering letter? |

No, a new passport copy is issued and with it the passport number has changed, it seems I need to update the same on CIC portal and as drbhatia says uploading scanned copy is ok.
Due you have any inputs on this drhasib? Or shall I proceed to upload it on the CIC portal?

hi, Send the copy of passport pages with a cover letter by Post to VO. this is the most effective way. dont forget to mention your file number during correspondence |

hmm..i received a letter today saying that my visa office is ready to issue my permanent resident visa..
they also ask to pay the visa fee..i sent the money already on september 24th 2011..
they sent me back all my documents they kept photos ,copy of my passport page only..
thats weird ??
anyways i sent an email to my contact at visa office to confirm they received my money..
Why did they send back the documents ?
