Dear betterfuture, I would say yes!, you must contact them, at least they will tell you if your application is under possess or they send you back already in case something missing in your package, you must be patient when you call them...I called them 10 times and each time an automated voice says "all of agents are busy ....". and after some trying I talked to an agent...you must digit 1-2-1-2-0...
whenever you call them, please tell us what they said.....wish you LUCK

WHAT??? they didn't find any record of you!! is your CC charged or BD encashed? first time that I called, the agent first asked me my name and birth date then put me on hold, then asked me more personal information such as phone number, email, address ... for security reason...then she told me that CIO has received my application and they have a 13 weeks timeline and I have to wait. second time the agent was kind but I didn't feel that he wrote my name accurately...so he asked me my full name and birth date once and put me on hold..then he told me (without asking me security questions) what they told you ..that he cannot find my file , but he found something.. honestly i didn't understand what he wanted to say, cuz he said I cannot find but he found something!!... any way if your pament has been charged you shouldnt be worry, I would say that you call them again and talk to another agent, and try to speel your name slowly.. then Let us know...we are all waiting for any good newzzzz what they have told you?i called them but they don't found any record they received my application on 2 May?

I am worry too but NO PANIC, try these steps: under which NOC did you apply? are you sure the NOC were full or close to be? did you send your ID? did you send all requested documents? ielts? No my DD has not been encashed yet I am really worried....even they were not able to tell me when they recieved my application?

I deeply understand what you feel right now....so if there is no record even negative you can still have some hope..you must keep contacting with your bank..
