Hi All,

I got an identical letter (by post) as Maran's from ND VO last week. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn t this the 2nd AOR?

It is 2nd AOR but they may not be updating ecas with information about our applications. That is probably the reason why they are not sending 2nd AORs and never mentioned about it in their response.

Did you submit Full Docs in September?  If yes,  did anybody in Sept. forum receive 2nd AOR recently or their ecas is getting updated?

If you have sent full docs on Oct5, and received 2nd AOR on Nov12, then there is hope that others could receive their 2nd AOR this week. We have to wait and see. Goodluck to Sadika and Pal83!

hi all,

I've just sent the full documents to New delhi VO today, after receiving the final awaiting doc.(via. post from abroad) just in the morning. Hopefully the package will reach the destination by 24th Nov 2010, which will be the exactly 5th month since application reached at CIO (reached on 24th June 2010). Luckily, today is my 1st anniversary too, & I'm very happy to be succeeded to sent the documents on the day same.

I would like to thank especially this thread, and saki, lakhvinder, srid_a, ankit & others for their constant supports & guides.

doc. to CIO: 24th June 2010
AOR: 5th Oct 2010
doc. to VO: still on the way (dispatched on 22nd Nov. 2010)

i got e mail from chc newdelhi on 17 november that there is a slight delay in creating a file after recieving our applications and once they create our file they will send us 2nd AOR so they ask me to await for that letter.second interesting thing they recognise me with UCI number not an immigration file number .in subject of my e mail they mention my UCI NUMBER ONLY.
                                                  TILAK GOT 2ND aor SO WE WILL GET IN SHORT TIME TOO.

Received the 2nd AOR (possibly that is what it is) today by post. It is dated Nov 15th but post is recvd only today at Bangalore. It has come by ordinary post in a sealed cover. Following are the contents of the letter:

Date: November 15,2010

UCI: xxxxxxxx                                                   Application: Exxxxxxxxx


Dear xxxxxxxxx,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada which was received at this office on 04/08/2010.

We have created a file with the file number pasted above. FOR CPC-S CASES: Please note that this file number is different than the one that was assigned to you by the Case Processing Centre in Sydnet, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must qoute this file number in any future correspondence. IF FEED COLLECTED AT MISSION: A receipt for the same will be sent soon.

Before your application can be placed in processing, a determination will be made as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. IF your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the decision as well as a refund.

Processing Time
Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to, require an average of 8 months to process at this office. If you have not received any instructions from this office 3 months after you submitted your full application, you are requested to contact this office directly.

There is no file number except the UCI number and the Application number. Possibly we have to consider the UCI number as the new file number. I tried to check the eCAS using this number and it was showing the same status as earlier - "..CIO Review complete..."

We have been eagerly waiting for this and now we are very very happy receiving it. Now fingers crossed for the next update...

Looks like its the next week for you srid...you submitted a week to 10 days later than us so just expect them for sure next week or max by monday the 6th of Dec this time!!! Good luck!!!
