Hi all,

I have a serious problem in my docs.

I checked my attendance in the institute where I Worked and there was a clerical mistake in some months.

Under my Job Title heading the clerk has written "INSTRUCTOR" in place of "ART  TEACHER" for three months in the year 2003.

Nobody, even me noticed this ever. But when my husband was going through it, he pointed out the same.

Please suggest how it may affect my application, in case NDVO checks the register and notices the same. JOB TITLE in my application is ART TEACHER. Though JOB DUTIES of an INSTRUCTOR and (ART) TEACHER as per 4131 are same, But we are getting worried on this issue.

Please advice.

Hi Satnam,
Nothing to worry about , there are very nominal chances of visiting your institute for verification, Even if they visit they will enquire from managing authority about your profile rather than checking attendance register. If a company don't keep record of old attendance doesn't mean nobody worked in that period. Moreover your job duties are important rather than your job title.

I also sent my complete application to ndvo on 9 -11-2010 but, did not received any reply from ndvo. last week I also sent a case specific enquiry. may be they will send a reply regarding the my email in 10 to 15 days.

i sent a case specific inquiry to ndvo last week and today i received an email from chc ndvo. the contents of that email are as under



Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi .

Your application as a Federal Skilled Worker, which was initially submitted to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The CIO recommended your application for further assessment at a visa office and sent you a letter requesting that you submit a complete application package to this office. We have now received your submission.

Our office has created a file for you with the file number: Bxxxxxxxxxx. Please note that this file number is different than the one that was assigned to you by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.  You must quote this file number in any future correspondence with our office.

Before your application can be placed in processing, our office will make a final determination as to whether or not you are eligible for processing.  If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the determination as well as a refund.

Applications in the Federal Skilled Worker category require an average of 8 months to process at this office.

Yes this is your 2nd AOR, there are many who got the same file number as CIO, from CHC New delhi. Please see the tracking sheet in my signature

I have received an email only in reply to my status inquiry.  I am still waiting it via post.
I have been given new file no. EXXXXXXXXX...
It states average 8 months processing time. Read below sentences as is.
Following are few lines from email.

    * Applications in the Federal Skilled Worker category require an average of 8 months to process at this office.
    * Please do not contact this office to request a status update unless 8 months have passed since you submitted your complete application.

As i have my deposit in my Saving Account & some of Fixed Deposits.

If i take Bank Letter then do i need to tell Bank to mention FD details in Letter or I can attached Photocopy of FD ? Do i need notarised it if attached it ?

Also do i need to submit past 6 months Bank St. with Letter ?


 I am confused.

Please need value-able advise...

Hi I applied for the 1st stage to CIO In May 2010 and go the approval on 1st October 2010.

I submitted all documents including my PCC, Bank Statements, etc to the Newdelhi VO on 20th December 2010.

I haven't received any acknowledgement till now.

Does the ND VO send any acknowledgement with File number or something on receipt of the application package?

I am really worried as I hv applied as an Accountant and it is no longer there in the NOC list.

Is there anyway we can check if the appliucation has reached the ND VO?

For FD-- Yes bank can provide your FD details in writing and attach copy of FD attested by bank manager.no need to notarize it. I did the same.

For savings account -last 3 months bank statement and bank certificate

Wait for 20 to 25 days more, CHC new Delhi will send you letter of acknowledgement for your received documents.
