Hi srid_a  -  I sent in my full documents to New Delhi VO yesterday.  Would you include me in this thread by editing the subject to include JAN also.

sure we will add you as there is few applicants for the month of Nov and Dec, so better idea to add Jan applicants as well.

Its a sillly question but still please help me understand -

whats the difference between  DOCs Request , AOR , and 2nd AOR .

In my case  i sent my appliction  on 24th may 2010 , CIC NOVA SCOTIA recived my file on 28th May as per the courier tracking details,

I got an email on 1st Oct  ( this is doc Request  ) as for docs to be submitted in VO new delhi, then i submitted my complete docs on 6th dec , i got another  mail by courier on 18th OCT (this 1st or 2nd AOR  ).

Now i am waiting for  Medical request .

please clarify if you can !

Well, I have sent my inquiry/concern to ND Vo through the link   https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi.

One of my friend who sent docs 3-4 days ahead of me has got 2nd AOR, thats why I was worrying.

i  also sent my complete application to ndvo on 8 nov 10 and they received it on 9-11-10 (as per the courier site)

but still i had not received any normal or electronic mail from them.

it has been two months passed. what should i do?

Hi Every one,

I have received a second file number starting with E like E00000xxxx and my fist file number was starting with "B" like Bxxxxxxxxx.

Please advise, if we add family member while submitting full documents, then only we get 2nd file number starting with "E"?. Why I am asking is I see people still have file number with "B" after their 2nd AOR.

Please advise, approximately after how many days ecas will be accessable with new file number? (that means status with IN PROCESS).

Frenz,

I received my 2nd AOR.

I have not really received it via post. Today (05-Jan-11) I received an email in reply to my status enquiry on date 23-Decmber-10.

I have been assigned file no. EXXXXXXXXX.

Following are few lines from email.

• Applications in the Federal Skilled Worker category require an average of 8 months to process at this office.
  
• Please do not contact this office to request a status update unless 8 months have passed since you submitted your complete application.
