Medicals will start coming in FIFO for pre June applicants , I personally think the visa office is also waiting for new MI before they start sending MR

Hi friends I am a dormant member on the forum. Recently only I came to know that there is a difference in the file nos starting with B and E. I was initially trying to log in to ecas using the B no and i could not find my application status for months. then today I logged in using my E no and I found out the following status
In process
We received your application for permanent residence on April 1, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 21, 2012 to (address- consultants). Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 21, 2012.
Now the thing is that I was expecting my baby who was born on 17 feb,2012 due to which i could not very ardently follow my ecas and my consultant never informed me about any letter though i called her occasionally to ask for any updates.
I need to know if any of you guys have an idea about what comes in that letter. Does this status mean that my process is going fine or is there a problem?

please try using your complete name as given in application
its not just surname that you need to put in.
you might need to enter your complete name to check status
Had the same problem myself!!!

A few candidates are having this status,including myself.These candidates are those who applied in April,reason behind is best is known to CIC NDVO,who believes in keeping applicants in hot water.Dont know for how long we have to suffer at their hands

I think then applicants of April,May and June will receive such status,while Jan Feb And March applicants will be spared.Had been hearing that the latter will be finalized this year while April...June applicants will be processed in 2013,any opinion on this!!!!!!!!! Qorax can give best answer.

Ecas is unable to recognize my credentials, tried both UCI and BXXXXXXXXX numbers. Was working fine until a few days, don't know what they are up to.

@ laddyji,
It is nice that u have APPRISED THE vO of the necessarychange,as it tantamounts to meterial change in the primary document.I reckon, last page of the PPT carries reference of the old passport,as well . Therefore,it should suffice the basic information.
