You can use irctc.co.in. I don't think there is any direct train though. well this is out of topic, but i want to ask a question.
is there is a train (express?) from Pashupatinagar (border of nepal) to banglore? how much is the cost & duration? we, about 40 ppl, will be traveling to banglore at the mid of Jan. pls advice.

Train name: GKP SBC Express Train no. 2591 Runs only on Saturday (from Gorakhpur) Departs from Gorakhpur junction at 06:45(A.M) - Day 1 Arrives at Bangalore (SBC) at 4:50 A.M - Day 3 Fare for sleeper class (per person) - Rs 555 A.c 3 tier - Rs. 1506 A.c 2 tier - Rs.2067 There is no ticket till 22nd Jan. All are waiting list. However there are 145 tickets available on 2nd Feb on sleeper class but waitlisted on other classes. So plan your travel accordingly. You might also want to try tatkal tickets which is availble for booking only 2 days prior to the journey. But since you are 40 in number, you might not want to go for it since there is a risk of non-availability as well. Hope this helps. thanks pistochio. (but can't help myself from the site)

Congrats! your details are added to the sheet? What kind of numbers do you have on your 2nd AOR? E****, B****? are they same as 1st AOR or different And any specific time lines for processing, to contact etc... Many thanks Ptv, I got the application number starting with 'E' and are different from first AOR. They quoted the average time as 8 months but i can contact them in 3 months in case i didn't get any further communication from them. I guess this 3 months or 6 months contact time is related to IELTS submission perhaps. I submitted it with initial app to CIO. I wish good luck to everybody here. regards, malwa

(1) How and where to take printouts in Bangalore. ? Check with your nearest police station, they can help you out. If you can manage to take clear prints by yourself you can try that too, it is not mandatory to have them taken by a law enforcement agency. You can download the forms from the FBI website and print on a regular A4 sheet.(2) For my Spouse i have ITIN number not SSN number as she was not working in USA. But in Form they mentioned the SSN field mandatory ? No, it is not mandatory(3) Shall i mention India address for certificate from them ? Yes, you can give your address in India(4) How to pay $18 fee ? Will money order work... Get a bank draft or certified check in USD, if you have a credit card (US) you can use that too

I have downloaded the fingerprint card and application form from FBI website. I have below queries on it :-- (1) How and where to take printouts in Bangalore. ? JK consulting in Delhi is the best. They can come to Bangalore and do it. Charges around Rs. 8000
Another option is http://www.fbifingerprinting.in/ They a have a representative in JP Nagar, Bangalore. You can take the rep's phone number and go to him.
(2) For my Spouse i have ITIN number not SSN number as she was not working in USA. But in Form they mentioned the SSN field mandatory I think I also did not mention SSN.
(3) Shall I mention India address for certificate from them ? (4) How to pay $18 fee ? Will money order work... Credit card or Bank draft. Can some one please help me on this please. Thanks, Sumit Bajaj

My guess is the 2nd AORs are system generated based on some parameters from the applications. So don't worry too much about the file number. If you are able to access e-CAS using the BXXXXX number you can track your progress there. I would advise you not to send too many case specific inquiries. What I have seen is some applicants get new EXXX numbers, some get instructions to contact the VO in 3 months, some in 6 months and still others in 8 months. And I think there are a few in exactly the same situation as yours, the letter says they created a new file number when it is actually the same sent from CIO. Please look at this thread also (manila applicants) http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/full-docs-to-manila-visa-office-octdec-2010-t57539.135.htmlSrid_a, please chime in... Good observation PTV. I think mine mentioned 3months. May be it is just a change in 2nd AOR letter format. I think 8months is mentioned in some AOR letters with E series (andamanhunk, maran). I don't know who get 6months mentioned in their letter.

I think if there is a delay it would be after 2nd AOR. The real delays probably happen when they ask you for additional documents. This mail is like your 2nd AOR and no need to worry. Hi Ptv and Srid_a,
Do you guys think delay in 2nd AOR could be becoz of me adding my wife to the application in the 2nd stage, I still haven't rcvd any courier/registered post as informed by my consultant-y-axis. i really don't know watto do now, as per the courier tracking my final doc.s were recvd by VO - ND on Oct 16th 2010. i sent them an email enquiry on Nov 2nd and got the response on Nov 10th stating "Our office has created a file for you with the file number: B0XXXXXXX. Please note that this file number is different than the one that was assigned to you by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this file number in any future correspondence with our office." the BXXXXXX they gave me is same as my 1st AOR which i rcvd on Jun 24th 2010 please suggest, would it be wise emailing VO again asking my case status??
