Annual report for 2011 is presented in parliament by Minister Jason Kenney. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/annual-report-2011/index.aspIt is mentioned that MI-I applicants will be processed in next two years. extract is as below... new FSW application wait times, for
example, have been reduced from years to months
(six to 12 months for those who have applied since
June 2010). While wait times have and will continue
to rise for applicants under the first set of Ministerial
Instructions of november 2008, this temporary
situation will subside as the inventory of some 136,000
people under this stream is processed over the next two
years.So half of pre june applicants will get processed in 2012 positively. So, Lakwinder, where do we belong to? I applied in May 31, 2010. Got 1st AOR on Sept 30, 2010. Sent full docs in Dec 13, 2010 and received 2nd AOR on Jan 13, 2011. Do you think we would get MR within 2012? or have to wait even longer? Please suggest. Regards, |

How it is good news as it is mentioned that wait time will continue to rise for who submitted their application under first set of ministerial instructions i.e after nov-2008 and before Jun-2010 |

Actually we belong to last batch of pre june applicants so may be we need to wait bit longer but still am happy that they have started to work on pre junes and have plan to clear it within next two years. so hope for good. |

I had applied in March 2010 , file transfer date is 1 june 2010. On Nov 2nd , 2011 . I saw change in my status , it is "In process ". My NOC is 4131, plz suggest me , what are the points to consider as my back ground check will proceed now ? I have left the institution from where I had claimed my work experience point so should I inform them in this regards ? Plz help me .
