I would be sending my full docs in coming week of November. Please advice as I do not have a letter from the bank but I have attached original bank statements with bank stamps for the last six months which show an average balance. Do I need to add a letter from the bank too.
As per new Delhi VO check list, only one is enough - Bank certificaiton letter or bank statement. I however included both.
I included bank statement because it gives them complete picture about how the funds were accumulated, etc. The statement however does not provide good summary ( you have to flip through pages before finding out current balance). After looking at the statement, I decided to go for certificate also. This tells how long you have the account, and how much money you have in that account. If you are lucky the bank guy can also mention amount in INR and equivalent Candian $$.
