Yap, I have done good research for the same. Also I have a group of people who applied for PR and later stage they got student visa and currently they are at canada. and also, I dont mind to withdraw my PR application at anytime, when I will require. Because Student permit also has its own root and ways to get to destination i mean to get PR.
Thanks a lot anyways

u r the smartest. go ahead with student visa. i am sure u would be in Canada before us. also when u complete your studies, u get a 2 year work permit, and then later u can file for PR from Canada, under CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS, in that 2 years. also by doing this, u earn a Canadian local degree, which makes u more eligible to get a HIGH PAID JOB, as compared to NEW PERMANENT RESIDENTS, who do not have a local Canadian degree and have to start from scratch. good luck

Seems like a better idea. I think taking a calculated risk can be worth rather waiting endlessly for PR from ND VO. I may do this if nothing happens on my application till Sept this year. Sans_May2010 Its true Sam, I am currently busy working on student visa. You are definately right. It took me around a month or two to decide wather or not to get student permit. At the end of the day,, I never had such a loosing attitude where I was been hanged on with PR file. I always believed that where I stand,, The que should start from there.
Ok lets come to the point and also I would love to discuss what I have been doing in these days:
a) I have sent three applications to different universities: one of them is at Qubec too. b) just go through all information available online for study permit and do a good research on international student forum here. c) I am preety sure to get good amount of fundings from university and other eternal sourses as canada is very good in fundings. So, I dont need to worry for paying fees neither thinking of getting job straight after moving there. I mean even if i was meant to get PR this was the only thing i wanted to do. But now if I dont need to pay fees. Y wait for such a hopeless stuff. Which no one knows d) I am hoping to get atleast three years of permit and my hubby will get open work permit so its much easy for he to get his own field job at canada which I researched as well. e) after study we get open permit based on our study period that means from 1 year to may be two to three years. So by the time I will have good time to re apply as well. If this file dont work. I mean I am not much bothered abt my PR file naymore now. Because I have very strong alternative with me and also As i mentioned initially in my time frame. I will definately going to fly canada max by OCT'2011.
Good luck to u and also i will post a link u can follow we guys who are in dual intent

+1 to this. I only applied thinking it would be done in 8-12 months max ! Now, I will think of alternatives.

Hi All,
It is very disappointing to see the increase in waiting period for another 3 months.....ND VO has not yet started with file transfer dates of April/May/June so the applicants with timelines like us will definitely be delayed.........
Can seniors help me and guide me....like most of us, we were hoping to be in Canada in 2011 but that is not the possibility any more..... While we are waiting for our turn, it is possible to plan a family for a couple..?........if suppose we get our medicals during the pregnancy, are we get rejected if we declare the lady is pregnant or what is the alternative procedure to include that child which is not yet born into our application?...
We are also not able to decide on how much feasible it is too immediately start planning for a baby once you land in Canada....i think it will give unnecessary pressure or burden because of single person earning etc...
Does anyone of you have similar situation or thoughts ?.......can you guys share your thoughts and provide guidance........It is very difficult for us to wait till that long without planning a family due to health issues..........
Thanks for your help.......

Hi All,
It is very disappointing to see the increase in waiting period for another 3 months.....ND VO has not yet started with file transfer dates of April/May/June so the applicants with timelines like us will definitely be delayed.........As processing time is increased so we have to wait no other option.
Can seniors help me and guide me....like most of us, we were hoping to be in Canada in 2011 but that is not the possibility any more..... We are also not able to decide on how much feasible it is too immediately start planning for a baby once you land in Canada....i think it will give unnecessary pressure or burden because of single person earning etc...It depends on your financial situation and your adjustment in new country, you can plan when you feel yourself prepared to take the responsibility of new born.
Does anyone of you have similar situation or thoughts ?.......can you guys share your thoughts and provide guidance........It is very difficult for us to wait till that long without planning a family due to health issues..........i think as we don't know how much time they will take to process our applications and as you cannot wait more then you should plan for baby. I think becoming parent is more beautiful than getting PR. (purely my opinion)
Thanks for your help.......

shreya99, The CIC website indicates 14 months time for full package which means from the date they received our application at NS, Canada. See my notes in blue. Wish you all the best for planning your future kid. Sans_May2010 Hi All,
It is very disappointing to see the increase in waiting period for another 3 months.....ND VO has not yet started with file transfer dates of April/May/June so the applicants with timelines like us will definitely be delayed.........
If you receive your medical when the wife is pregnenat, you can carry on with the medical execpt the X-ray which is not recommented at that stage. So you can take the X-ray when the baby is born along with the medical of the new born baby. This can delay a bit of processing time, but there is no chances of rejection for being pregnant. You must need to submit application to add the details of the new born baby along with documents like birth certificate, passport of the baby etc etc.
We are also not able to decide on how much feasible it is too immediately start planning for a baby once you land in Canada....i think it will give unnecessary pressure or burden because of single person earning etc...
Its more a personal choice, having a baby may make a bit more expensive, but I dont think that can make a big difference. You have another choice like the principal applicant can reach canada first and the accompanying family can join later after the principle applicant find a job in canda which makes life easier if you are concerned about finding a job or having short of fund in hand.
Does anyone of you have similar situation or thoughts ?.......can you guys share your thoughts and provide guidance........It is very difficult for us to wait till that long without planning a family due to health issues..........
Yes, We are planning a kid in canada. If you have your kid born in canada the kid can become a canadian citizen by birth so that you dont need to worry about applying for a canadian citizenship for the kid if you are planning a citizenship. But thats not a big deal. The processing can get delayed if the wife pregnant because you need to wait till the baby is born and then you need to send application form to add the new born baby along with all required documents which seems like further delay to reach canada.
Thanks for your help.......
