Hi guys,

I have been a silent observer for some time. Today i have some update. Well don't know whether this is for my good or bad.

i am a FSW applicant my application received date is 1st june 2010. my 2nd AOR date from NDVO is 10 jan. 2011.

After waiting for a long time i applied under MPNP as well. i applied in july 2011 for MPNP ( thinking it will be fast) n yes i received Approval from Manitoba in OCT 2011 n again applied to NDVO for visa. my medical was done in DEC n passport were requested at the same time.
my MPNP application is in process from Mar 2012.  i am on the last stage of getting the visa. i was expecting decision made within this month.

But today i noticed another update, today my FSW application status also changed to "In Process" as it was RBVO before.

What the heck, i was expecting they will call me n ask for the withdrawal of my FSW application n issue me visa under MPNP application.

But may be its for good as they are done checking my MPNP application n now they are checking my FSW application.

any views guys ?

oh dear, this may be a bad news because now u will not be eligible for fee refund of federal skilled application.
contact them as soon as possible, there may be still a chance of withdrawing with refund.

oh dear, this may be a bad news because now u will not be eligible for fee refund of federal skilled application.

Yes i know my application fees is gone. i Don't think of getting it back either. i already sent them a mail regarding withdrawal of my FSW application in Jan 2012. but i received reply that i should wait for the next command. below is the reply i got from their side.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

We have received the requested information/documents and your application is currently awaiting review by a visa officer.

At this point there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the review is complete, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you will be advised accordingly. Processing times to finalization may vary depending on the number of new applications received and the individual complexity of each application.  Applicants can check the status of their case on the CIC website by clicking on Client Application Status.  For actual processing times of permanent resident applications in New Delhi for the last 12 months, please click here. Applicants may also refer to our website, www.india.gc.ca, for more information about processing times.
 
Kindly note that both these applications as pending review by an officer. Please advise if you need your passports.

 Now i don't have any idea whats going on. I dont think they need to put my FSW file " in process " just to process my MPNP application.
 i mean they coul'd have just issued me visa without touching my FSW application. probably just hv asked the withdrawal of FSW application.
Don't hv any idea whats gonna happen next.

i check my ecas once a day..

and this evening , it turned from  AR to IP

Full Documents sent to NDVO on Oct 15/20  2010 and 2nd AOR received 24th Nov 2010...

Finally...IP .....super! atleast some imporvemnt... so i presume the VO is satisfied with the points , and the scrutiny of the documents and other checks will take place now??

Acc to me ur file is clear and sent to another department to issue MR, but due to no visas at NDVO, u have to wait.
I had same ecas status and it was clear after i got GCMS.

Hi Athwal, I would have been of the same opinion of this status was shown 2-3 years back.

With all these backlogs and probable new MI in July, This is what I understand:

1. Initial review has been done ( points given, eligibility confirmed according to MI)
2. File forwarded for processing..

Thats just about it. For people who have received IP few months ago (NDVO),neither have they received documents update or any letter or MR. Like in Indian govt offices, how files get stacked up one over the other at different tables, mine has moved to a different ( next step) table...Difficult to predict whenthe processing will start and MR would be issued after processing...Eg, verirfications etc..

It is beyond me how they would process our files without asking for update of few essential documents as criminality, POF , employment etc...are bound to change over time...

Just my opinion that the actual processing would start after document update request and then MR would be issued..

We need to inform CHC in case of any change in employment, etc. So that information is not needed when asking updated documents.
For PCC-why do we need to undergo form filling again because of the delay by CHC/CIC?
POF-CHC will ask along with medicals(my caips mentioned ecu to request updated POF, medicals, RPRF and passports).

Hi Nano, I agree with you on empolyment.We need to update.  Nevrthless, they would ask us documents from new employer to prove so when the file comes up for processing is what I feel. True, this may not be needed in update , as the case should be processed as on date of application/full documents, totaly agree with you.

but PCC , for eg, Mr.X got  PCC 2 years ago. He had a clean record. But now Mr X has a criminal record after an offence. To avoid such scenarios, may be they will ask for updated PCC.

About POF update, thanks for the info that they asked along with medicals...We should all be ready...
