Hi Kavya,

I am also 4131 April 2010 with 2nd AOR in Jan 2011. But still its AR in my e-cas. Any advice? I am worried about my husband's Pakistan visits!!

Well, what I did was to ordered CAIPS NOTE. Also the current movement has no base. I mean we got "In process" has no base, because, recently, its the one who got second AOR in August'2010. So may be u need to wait for more. Even if its Just IP we get still dont know when we will get MR.

I think they will put all prejune files in Process, by April 2012   release the  MR  to all and  slowly and steadily by end of 2012 and early 2013 Issue the visas.

I was unnescarily getting excited about Atul.amin geting MR in 4 days of In process , Actualy he has applied for  M PNP so he got the MR .

They don't delay visas after issuing medicals because the validity of visa will be one year from medicals....so they can delay issuing medicals, but not visas

Agree with sm001.

Though there are some rare cases where the applicant had to do re medicals because of delays.
But that is very very rare.

Most of us who got in process will get medicals very soon.
Or god forbid 'rejection'

But one thing is sure that they are working on our cases.
It is apparent by the letters of rejection or document updation that some candidates received.

Maybe we have cleared our first step and our documents are in order.
They may now be running background checks on the given documents, etc.

Nano you have no solid information.Every where you are saying may be.Mine cousin got in process with RBVO in January 2010 and yet waiting medicals.In these days rejection rate is very high.Three known people to me got rejection letters.CIC is rejecting applications for very little reasons.Processing for visas is not seen anywhere.No body is getting medicals or visas.It is because conservative government is not in favor of immigration.It is apparent from cases before 2008,who were also asked for up gradation.I don't want to discourage any body but the picture is very much clear.We should not live in fairy land as well not to waste our golden period of life.Many people are waiting since Nov 2003.
Rest i don't want to discourage you all but have a wish not to run away from truth.

 My ecas changed to "IN PROCESS" on 17,/02/2012 with unchanged detail in the box.

Hi Destination BC,

What you will say about rejection on wife education points the wife has done masters instead of giving points CHC gave points for bachelor , just to make sure the applicant is short of required 67 points by 1 point. If somebody has already set there mind  negative that they will look into minute details to cut the points then it's not a good news for the pre June applicants who had there points on the edge I.e 67-71

I agree with you on the point that CIO has allotted some points and accepted our applications.
After this CHC goes through our documents, vis-a-vis forms and if it finds anything contradictory than they may reject the application.

As most of the applicants who got rejection got it within 1st week of getting in process chances are that our documents are in order and they are now doing background checks.

What exactly is background checks??
Isn't it the same as verifying our documents??

If I am claiming that i work at xyz place and submitted the documents, the chc verifies that.
I have so and so passport, chc checks whether it is genuinely mine or whether I am faking it.

So all background checks are basically verification of our submitted documents.

What was the reason for the rejections of three people?

The question in my mind is coming for the reason that why mass rejections are seen now which were nowhere in the past.One applicant was rejected that his institute is not govt recognized.It is F Tech,which is approved by govt.Second is rejected that he was approached but could not located at the place where he was posted.Third is rejected that his boss can't give satisfactory answer about his job duties.Here it is not fault of applicant and may the boss have malafied intention.
Now it is clear that CIC want to clear the backlog by any means.Moreover it is my view that CIC want to immigrate those applicants in Canada which are highly required their.May i be wrong but it is my view point.It is my wish that as maximum people from India migrate which can make majority of Indians.
