Hi Ankit,

As we are sure now that CHC is working on FT date. I think you might have to wait 2 to 3 weeks and +1 week for me to get any updates. What do u say ? BTW which city have you planned to land in ?

Hi Imran n Ankit! U guys r lucky. U'll get some gud news soon. But I think i have to wait long coz my file transfer date from nova scotia to CIC ND is 27 APRIL. What do U think. I should expect medicals in which month? My status is still RBVO.

Yeah I think I'll have to wait for about 3 more weeks and for you max of 4-5 weeks. But at least we are not anxious any more and know a tentaive timeline. I just hope out come is positive. I was disheartned to see negative results for our beloved jairam and inderaj

I would love to end up in Vancouver but planning to  land in Toronto. The thought is to get some Candian exp first and then look for options in Vancouver, rest  as you know is in God's Hand

What are your plans and looking at current time lines when do you think you want to land

I am also planning to land in Toronto first. I have a cousin in Toronto. Afterwords where the job takes me. I would also love to get settled in  Vancouver if I get a chance. I think I would like to land in somewhere around mid of March. My cousin told me that this is the best time to Land in Canada because you don't face the extreme cold in start and the Summer is about to get started. In Jan/Feb there, everything is like stuck so we may face difficulty searching a Job.

What is your technical experience is like ? I am working on Dotnet technologies & Sharepoint and have almost 5 years of experience. How about u ?

I think roughly 2.5 to 3 months before status changes. So it is some wait for you in my opinion

It took lot of time to clear January cases. The clearance started in Jun and eneded in OCt first week. But for three months there was no activity from CHC which was frustrating. I would assume that they will take approx one month to clear files transfered in a month. But that needs to bee seen over next three weeks

I was estimating it bout 9 wks more. Lets see what happens in your case. We can get more clues from yours n Imran's case.

Ankit I think there is a reason behind that long delay for processing after june. I think Common wealth games have effected the processing of our cases in New delhi coz there are lots of foreigners who visit INDIA for CWG in last month or two and VO spend their time in issuing visa to the Players n spectators. VO will clear cases soon after CWG i think!!!!

well i am not sure  but this doesnt seem an explanation as visas were to be granted by indian embassy , and visa section and the immigration section are different however some put it on student visa but no one is sure but as long as it has started working again no issues. about it
and i hope it stays that way

Thanks a lot for all the good wishes, I have a question for folks who went in for their medical exams. The letter states we need to carry negatives of photographs but the DMP's office did not ask for the same inspite of reminding the lady on phone. She it seems knew the process so was not just taking the appointment down. I would appreciate if you guys can help if you have already gone past the medical exams.

now a days negatives r not required...doc will take a digital pic of ur at his place....so, only carry pp size photos with u.

CHC hv asked for my FBI Clearance certificate n US state PCC...so, it will take 12 weeks to get them back...so, i m done with my medicals but RPRF n PPs are not sent yet. asked for extension due to FBI cert.
in a confusion.....shud i send fee n PPs now or shud wait the certs to come.
