FULL DOCS TO CHC NEW DELHI IN MAY 2010

My first AOR is 12 Feb 2010 and  file transfer date is 15 May 2010 not 15 March

Ajith File transfer is between CIO and CHC and it has nothing to do with doc submission by applicant. File transfer date is generally 1-2 week after 1st AOR date . It can be seen in your ECAS. 15th MAY seem really far away from AOR date.

guyzz i have some info......
yesterday eveninng i called the consultant and asked bout any progress.
he told me dat he got medicals for 4th may applicant...dat guys f transfer date was 20 jan....
hope dis info is of some use....

Ankit is right. There can't be this much gap between your first AOR & File transfer date. I think you are misunderstood the File trasnfer date with the Date you sent the document. File transfer date is not the date you sent your full documents to CHC. Please check your E-CAS. Your file transfer date should be the last line when you click on "Received_by Visa Office" which is your current status. The line should be like "We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on Here is you file transfer date . The New Delhi office may contact you."

For time being I am keeping your FT date empty to avoid confusion among the other members.

Can you pls expalin what is the activity excercised by CIO/CHC during file transfer and how it effect our application?

File transfer date is mentioned in the ECAS status. It is a date that is around 1-2 weeks after AOR date.

My assumption is that at this date CIO informs CHC about your file and tells them to expect full documents from you.

In current scenario we are observing(based on some April data) that for files received in a Month (MAY) the priority to files is assigned as per File transfer date. This may be incorrect observation but couple of coming Tuesdays will confirm the same

Hi Wolfman 24th May is your 2nd AOR date as I can tell from the table. This can't be you file transfer date. Your file transfer date should be few days (6 -7 may be) after your 1st AOR. Please check your ecas to find your File Transfer date.
