hello to all members i'm new to this thread... and i'hv been reading this thread since last week,, and i reali appriciate each n every member of this thread the way they help each other it's reali great.i wanted to be a part of this thread. now i hv applied to cic on 21st oct. 2009, cic recieved my docs on 6th nov. 2009. then they create my file no. and send me on 12th Jan. 2010 on my e-mail id. then i submit my full docs to CHC ND on 10th May 2010. then they sent me the 1st AOR on 20th may 2010 and the payment reciept aswell. but since then there is nothing to joy, it's been a 4 months now, no verification calls and no medicals. the status of my file is RBVO so some1 plz help me,, do i reali hv chance to get my visa n what about the medicals plz help me guys..

i also submitted my full docs to chc new delhi on 10thMay 2010 and i recieved my 2nd AOR on 20thMay 2010. My case is similar to ur case, i also didn't got any verification calls yet and the e-case status is still RBVO any update regarding that???

I guess my NOC code is different from ur's code it's 4131... i think it's similar to purvi's NOC code... but we hv submitted our full docs to chc nd on the same date 10th May 2010. so may be chances are similar to our file process...

Hi Guys,
I have a question on Verification call. Do they use the number given on the reference letter or do they research the company number on their own. The reason I am asking is that my company requires my HR head to travel outside India a lot and it is difficult to reach him on phone. It would be best if they can do their own research and call up my HO and do the verification. Does anybody have any idea what do they ask or who do they call?
The list seems to be growing a who lot. My AOR completes 120 days officially this Tuesday. I hope to see some movement in Month of October. Let us hope they move the files for April lot faster so we get to see our files being worked upon next month.

Hi CAfor CA,
Yes,they will call at the number you've given on letterhead of your company.They will make some queries about your salary,job duties,job timings,work experience and on the same time they can ask these questions from your co-employee and from you also.
