Full docs sent to Buffalo within three months ahead or back around Nov, 2010

Hi katydid,

As per CIC website, the processing timelines (17 months for Buffalo) are given from the date of reciept of complete documents at the VO. Would it be possible for you to sort the info on spreadsheet in this order (column D). This will be helpful.

Hi, jeckay, It seems that there is a typo above? you said you started in Apr 2009 but you just submitted full docs to Buffalo til Dec 2010.  I suppose it should be Apr 2010 for starting your app. Is that right?

sorry it is April 2010 and we received our 1st AOR August 2010, we sent the full docs to our consultant 2nd week of November and according to them Buffalo received the docs December, but huh until now we are still waiting for the 2nd AOR. why is it Buffalo VO is so slow

Yes. Buffalo actually is slow. I also sent my full documents  at the end of Dec 2010 and still no any answer.

Nitma, chimmm, how about you guys? Is there any progress on your applicaitons? Not hear of you for a quite long while.

it's been a while, how have you been?

Last time I posted my status here, it was CIO-S and they received my documents at Nova Scotia C-50 blah...
Since then, my e-cas changed to RBVO with correct information on March 25th.

This is my recent update.. Its been more than 5 months I have been waiting for my 2nd AOR.

Seems Buffalo is really slow:(
Besides, I see many people in this forum are waiting for 2nd AOR from them.
When are we getting 2nd AOR....?
Once the e-cas changes into RBVO, how long does it usually take to get 2nd AOR?

By the way, I am currently here with working holiday visa and it will be expired in 3 months.
I am applying visitor extension now.

I hope everyones will hear any good news from Buffalo soon.

Working holiday visa? I have never heard of it. what kind of visa is that?

I have seen that quite a few members here, who send their full docs to buffalo in september last year, got the 2nd AoR in Dec. However, there is almost no one getting the 2nd AoR since Oct last year. I don't know why. Have all officers of buffallo been on holiday since Oct 2010? Awful.....

Working holiday visa is one year open work permit.
its like travel and work experience.

i truly understand its long long way to get PR, but i get sick of this waiting waiting waiting period
and i have to think of my visa, plan, blah blah... at the same time.

a loooot of people are dealing with this feeling everyday.
and we cant do anything about it except WAITING patiently.

You are right. Sometimes this anxious feeling render us too fretful to concentrate on work. To be honest, I really detest this style of the current CIC but I don't have other better choices.  I faithfully hope the ongoing election of Canada could infuse some fresh blood into CIC. Pray...

I agree with you. Your life is unstable as you keep thinking about this immigration thing and you can not even make any new plans.
They should do something.

You are absolutely correct almost no one who sent der docs after OCT 2010 hav received their 2nd AOr... I sent mine in first week of oct 2010 but never got ne response from der . nd whn u frekin email dem all they reply is that same thing abt 30 weeks ... Next week mondy i will complete my 30 weeks lets c wat happens.. I will keep u guys updated...
