Hi Indira,
i have yet another thing to be clarrified.this is regarding PROOF OF FUNDS.
i am planing to provide CIO with the 6 monhs bank statement of my salaried bank account.
as i understand for me and my wife the requirement is to have around 14,000 CAN $ as savings.my question is :
my bank statment shows around 25,000 CAN $ as savings.what shall i write in the form? 14,000 only as required  or the whole money as reflected in the bank statement.
since i do not want to block the complete money as i may need it.can i only write 14,000 in the form even if the bank statement shows 25,000.

thanks a lot again,

dyaan.

Hi Indira!
could you please suggest me on the following:

1. can i stample the forms having 2 or more pages. also can i staple the supporting documents with one subject e.g employment contract with 5 pages.

3. i am planing to arrange and put all the forms together in the front and then then will type a table of contents for the attachments/supporting documents followed by the supporting documents with the divider pages between them.Clip the all together and put thenm in an envolope .Am i right in doing so?

4. what is beter demand draft of credit card payment. Is it safe to put the credit card details along with the CVV # on the form itself?

5.i am from india and am working in UAE.Am i supposed to write the travel details form if i have not travelled anywhere out of these 2 countries?

thanks in advance.

Hello Dyaan,

First I'm assuming you are using New Delhi as your VO.

About the POF, you are only required to send your current bank balance certificate. While a 6 months bank statement would be a great value addition:). Yes, you may not want to write the whole available amount, but at the same time, i suggest you write at least 1000$ extra than the required amount, just in case of some fluctuations in the Forex, etc.,

I would suggest not to staple the papers, anyway! Instead, use small paper clips:). we did the same.

Arranging has no hard and fast rule yet Tongue. You are free to do the way, you feel is best:). I suggest you go through this link on this topic once.

http://indiraprabhakaran.com/blog/fsw/how-to-apply/

Demand draft/Bankers draft is the best, hands down! We have seen so many discrepancies with the CC thing. While it's safe to put all the details of your CC in the form, there are just too many situations, the payment could go wrong.

Yes, very much you have to mention ALL the travel details, if you have ever left your home country(India).

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

thanka again Indira,
does this mean that it does not matter if i write the required $14K to $15K in the form and my 6 months bank statement shows $25K at the time of submission.
BTW my visa office is LONDON.I am applying from Abu Dhabi.

As long as it's over and above the minimum required amount, your are good to go. If you are using London, please double check their documentation required for the POF. They might want the bank statements?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Dear Indira,
kindly advice on the following:

i have the required 4 years experience from my work in abu dhabi.
my appointment letter and the experience letter from the employer clearly demonstrates the 4 years work experience i have ,but as you all are aware the labor ministry contracts here in the UAE are always made atleast a month or later after the appointment. Also i had got the salry updated after 3 years of my contract period therefore a new labor contract was again made reflecting the new salary.
will this discripency betwwen the contract dates and the appoinment & experience leter dates effect my case evaluation?
Shall i write a covering letter explaining the situation of labor contracts in UAE to CIO?

Also please advice shall i apply  if i have exact 67 points under the follwing criteria (education:20,language:12,experience:21(if above is OK), adaptibility :4,arranged exployment:0,age:10)

eagarly waiting.please advice.

You will have to contact the issuing bank for that. The next step is to wait for an email from the CIO on the result of your eligibility review. Please start to follow the below thread.
