Hello all,

below is the extract of CIC website for Federal Skilled worker (FSW)which say if you belong to any of these you can apply

"
Category 2 :have an offer of arranged employment, OR
Category 3: be a foreign national living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student, OR
Category 1: be a skilled worker who has at least one year of experience in one or more of the following occupations: "

I have questions which i understand no one asked before:

Q. Category 3, when they say  TFW or international student means TFW even under low skilled category who has proven experience in Skilled worker categary can apply for FSW program?

senior members, please guide.

thanks,

Actually I can remember this question has been asked before. So you will need to search for the relevant post on this forum.

There are a lot of similar questions about this topic. For Category 3, you need to stay in Canada for 1 year and have at least 1 year continous work experience in type A,B or O.

As far as I know, it doesn't say anywhere that your work experience in Canada needs to be skilled.  You just have to have been in Canada studying or working for a year.  If you have one year continuous skilled work experience from somewhere else and you have 67 points, there's no reason you can't apply.
