The 120 days [2nd stage] submission has been dispensed with since 26/6/2010. Currently u'll have to send the 'complete' package to CIO-NS, in one go. PSDEC is 'paper screening decision'.

1. Generally it takes 3-5 months to get the PPR after the meds r received  @  your VO.
2. 'MR' gets reflected on the e-Cas once the meds get 'seconded' from Ottawa... usually by 2-3 months.

Hello Qorax,

I have applied for Canada Immigration & later I realized that I have mentioned wrong date of birth for my mother.

My mother is 68 yrs. old and does not has date of birth certificate, when I checked at time of filing, she was not sure about date of birth, but mentioned me what she thought is correct and I mentioned the same in application (it is not uncommon, earlier in India, people use to remember birthday as per native months date which gets change because Hindu native month dates are based on position of moon & sun).

Later she found a PAN card (national id card in India), in which her date of birth is different. And she applied for passport and submitted that PAN card for DOB, her passport has the same DOB.

Yesterday I sent a letter to VO and also submitted two documents which has her DOB.

I am not sure if this will delay the processing, but since I wish to correct my record in CIC, I have done this.

Will this lead to bad impression on CIC? Any thoughts on this?

regards.

No issues there. U have done the right thing [in informing about the situation to your VO].
