In my application cover letter I would be enclosing the receipt, would it create any confusion to the officer assessing the application?

My application is for myself and wife thus CAD$ 550 x 2 + CAD$ 490 x 2

I am just wondering if after AOR would they transfer the credit of CAD$ 490 x 2 for further processing or no?

I think everything should be fine. They will return your RPR Fee. (if your case is rejected or if you do not use your visa when granted).
I paid for 5 of us - all    @    a go about 2 years ago.

Thanks Bobby!

what a relief with you reply. I have paid extra against the actual initial fee so even I am guess it should go through and in the event AOR comes through they can always use the extra CAD$ 490 x 2 for our application. fingers crossed mate, hope everything goes well.
