Hi All,

Just got my returned docs from our main post office.  A very frustrating day since I just got a very very minor mistake.  The CIO was asking for a schedule 1 background to be completed by my spouse.  I've overlooked this one co'z I was thinking that this form will only be completed by the principal applicant alone & not the spouse & any accompanying child 18 yrs old & above.  Just a very slight misunderstanding on the instructions. 

I shall say very frustrating since we could have resubmitted our applications even the following day we received the docs to make it to the NOC 1122 cap limit had we received it earlier.

Will the Additional Family Background be completed also by the spouse (accompanying or not)  & children 18 yrs old & above (accompanying or not)? Meaning if we are three in the family (1 child 18 yrs old below, husband & wife) then we need to submit 2 sets of form for the Additional Family Background one for the applicant & 1 for the spouse?

The instructions are quite misleading.

I don't think it is a minor mistake because your dependents did not complete and submit a very important form. But anyways, at least you know what you have done wrong and won't commit the same mistake in case you lodge an application again.

Btw, you went to your post office to get the returned docs? That's frustrating because as you've said, you could've corrected your error had your docs arrived earlier.

yes, you have to fill that both, one for the PA and one for the spouse.

the good thing now is: you have your docs with you...what u can do now is to have ur wife submit all your docs as the PA like what uv mentioned before...there is still time however we can not tell when the cap for 3113 will be filled.

Don't lose hope,have faith.It is just only a minor set back,and after all,you are doing it own your own.Not like other people,they are paying a consultant to guide them.I meet someone today,like you,he made a lot of mistake in doing the forms and of course,the CIO returned his documents twice.

Right now,he is very proud about his experience and he is willing to share his knowledge to other people.Lucky for him,during his time,the processing was quite fast.May visa na siya ngayon.Hindi pa nka alis dahil kulang pa yon pocket money.

yes u got it right, magkakaiba lang sa father/mother's name in section A.

section B po anak ninyo, legit/illegit (kung meron)

section C magkaiba content, ist set brother sister niyo po (for PA)
                                        2nd set brother sister ng spouse po

in my case po, latest business regs lang hiningi like mayors permit, dti, bir reg...but if you have all of them (if uv been in that job for say 10yrs and u have papers to show that's better) plus letters from clients/suppliers attesting to the fact na they have been ur clients/customers or been supplied ganon po...then kasama na rin po supporting docs ng spouse, kung ano meron kayong ipinass, same din po sa spouse niyo na rin ho ipass niyo. magastos lang din po kasi daming papanotarize but like what the other forum mates 've said, mag ookey din po yan...

As per CIC instruction "...work experience in all the jobs you have had for at least one year in the past 10 years..." I included all the annual ITRs for the last 10 years of my practice.  I have a parallel application dated Dec. 2006 where in I hired a consultant.  I was asked to provide the same so I just followed the step-by-step procedures we took.
