Guys, kindly answer this query. A friend of mine in Manila applied under FSW Post June 2010 and recently received the first AOR from CIC informing her that she qualified under the category (3152) that she had applied for.

Question now is: In the email that she received from CIC, they did not specifically tell her to send the full application to the local visa office. Is she to go ahead now and send her docs to Manila office (is this the normal process) or is she to received further advice from CIC/ or local visa office prior to sending them the full application?

Thanks for the reply guys.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL WHO RCVD THEIR MOST AWAITED MR AND SOON APPROVED VISA ..........

To those who submitted complete documents to CIO most especially ladyk, westpoint, nursemich, etc (without agency), what kind of envelope  did you use to fit in all your documents. Grin Because the first time i sent mine, was in a small brown envelope (9"x12") and i had a very hard time to put my incomplete application package. How much more NOW that i have a lot of docs to comply such as my contract of lease with the hospital, a very detailed JD, ITR, and so with my husband's company's documents.
Thanks so much for your inputs....

hi capricorn,

you can use the expandable envelope or the bubble envelope which the CIO uses when they returned our docs. This is ideal for long distance travel of documents & protect your docs against being crampled.  The bubble envelope is also available at the National Bookstore.

Wait for the embassy to tell her what she should submit. Complete application is not to be submitted again at the visa office. CIC will forward all her documents to Canadian Embassy Manila, then they will be the one to send an email called the "second AOR". After that, NBI, Medical request and Payment for PR fee will be required. So tell her to sit back, relax and wait for further info through her email Smiley Normally, one month of waiting for the second AOR Smiley

Hi there, regarding BD's, halos lahat ng gumamit ng ganung mode eh may kanyakanyang story kung pano nila nalaman kung naencash yung BDs nila. Hindi regular bank transaction ang BD ( if I may put it that way and please correct me if Im wrong) besides ibang currency sya. Ako it took me more than two weeks nung magstart ako maginquire sa kanila. Usualy kung complete papers mo after a week nageencash na sila or nagchacharge na sila sa credit cards.

thanks.. buti nabasa ko post mo.. balak ko nang magcomplain sa customer service about sa bank draft ko na di matrace kung kelan naencashed.. sinabe naman nila sakin na mag-eemail sila sa main.. cguro i'll be more patient na lang.. sobrang anxious na ko, nov applicants PER on the way na..

Hi Kimwayne, yes kasama 1yr.old baby namin. I was told by Nationwide it's 1800 for kids her age. Adults 4K each. They open at 7am daw and we'll be there by that time. Read from nursemich that it's the waiting for one's turn takes long kaya mauuna na kami sa pila. Hirap na baka mag-alboroto baby ko sa kakahintay Smiley

sabi ng banko no way nila ma trace? that's absurd! how would they know then na nabawasan pera nila? baka tinatamad lang un mag check, kulitin mo, pati agency. ur spending money on them so u should get ur money's worth kaya don't be shy to ask...

that's what i thought, tinatamad lang sila.. accdg to carl, it will really take you a while para maconfirm kung anong status ng bank draft mo kasi sa main office daw ang may record nun.. accdg to beau naman, sya mismo tumawag sa main office to inquire and the following day inimail na sa kanya yung status ng bank draft.. subukan ko yung ginawa ni beau.. im a bit worried tuloy, after all these months baka mamaya di pa pala naeencash yung bank draft..

with regards kung nareceived ng cio yung application, im sure of it.. kasi last jan 23, i inquired thru email kung nareceive nila yung papers ko and they told me na its awaiting assessment and that they will notify me soon.
