Hi guys, to update you, here's my medical exam experience.

I chose Nationwide Health System in Makati from the list of DMP given by the embassy.

What you need to bring aside from those listed by the CEM:

- Ballpens (Black or blue only)
- Photocopy of passport
- Bottled water

Once you get there, prepare to show all the needed docs para mabigyan ng forms:

-passport
-photocopy of passport
-letter from the embassy
-pictures 4pcs for each family member

When filling up the forms:

-for those who have children, make sure na tama ung forms kasi parang iba ung forms depende sa age. In our case kasi, ako lang and si hubby, pero sa naobserve ko sa may mga anak na applicants, they will inform the ages of their children and iba iba ung forms na binibigay according to age of the child

- Be careful sa date. sa ibang forms iba yung format mo/date/year, sa iba naman date/mo/year

- fill up those with check only. For females, remember when is your first day of last menstruation. For those with medications, you also need to note it down. In my case dun sa history, yung yes and no question, isa lang ung yes ko, dun sa pill and medication kasi I am taking contraceptive pill. I wrote the name of the med beside it.

After all the forms are filled up, you will bring it to table 2, for verification then payment na.. Here in this period, you can drink a lot of water na, para pag nag urinalysis kayo eh pang second or third na ihi nyo na, so less worry na kung may uti kayo..you can pee sa third floor, right side, may cr don, so in less than 3 min, makakabalik na agad kayo..

Then payment and the rest yung medical exam na..

Height, Weight and eye exam
Physical exam
Urinalysis
Blood extraction
Xray

We went out at around 11 am, mabilis lang lahat ng examination, ang matagal lang ung paghihintay sa turn mo..

We were told if there is additional test needed, they will contact us within 2-3 weeks. Pag wala, forward na agad sa CEM.

Hay sana wala akong mareceive na call or text sa kanila

Pero wala naman kami medical results submitted pa... Parang tama ang estimate mo LadyK! Sana mareceive ko na ang MR namin! Thank you Lord for this update!

I fully understand what your feel.  I went through the same agonizing experience, the waiting ....
This is it! MRs are indicators that Canada will be my future home.  What happens next?  Oh my, when will I stop thinking what's gonna happen next?

Naku ladyk, I really like your story, we have the same feelings and reactions, I think our worry doesn't end there. When we have had our medicals, Im so in excitement as well as in worry, naku baka mapalit ung urine sample ko sa iba, kasi when I had it placed sa lalagyan nila, katabi ko ung isang sample ng isang applicant, pero may control number naman sila, paranoid ako..hehehe tas may kasabay ako sa blood extraction then sobrang observant ako, tinitingnan ko talaga control number sa sample ko and dun sa nakadikit and dun sa list nila,, hay paranoia..hehe I even asked kung ok lang ba yun? kasi I noticed iba ung sinulat na call number dun sa nilista nila, kasi sa nationwide they will give you a number, they will call that number pag turn mo na.. tas paranoid ako bat kaya kako binago dun sa sinusulat nila sa laboraroty, hehe control number pala nila un para sa blood sample and urine..

Dun sa xray, naku hihinga kaya ako ng malalim, then onting hinga lang ginawa ko..hehe tas sabi ng staff, hinga ng malalim, hehe saka palang ako nag deep breath..paranoid ako talaga..

Pati sa physical exam, naku baka may bukol na makapa ang doctor. The doctor who seen me, palpated my throat, abdomen, breast, then check lahat ng katawan baka mag tahi or injury... tiningnan ko talaga mata nya kung san sya nakatingin..hehehe buti narelax ako, at kinausap pako ng doctor dahil nagandahan sa sandals ko, san ko daw ba binili un.hehehe

Then after ng medicals, gusto ko pa magpa CBC at Urinalysis ulet, para malaman ko result dahil they would not tell you the results..

bago ko matulog, naku baka magtext sila or baka makatangap ako ng tawag, then bawi ako, positive positive, everything will be ok..hehe

eto agony of waiting ulet grabe I will give NHS a period until March 5, pag wala silang text or tawag, magdidiwang nako..hehehe

pero wala silang blood extraction, kasi walang namang nagiiyak don..

pag dumating na MR mo, call your desired clinic then ask for them pero now palang

Naku any day from today, kakatok na si manong kartero para sa MR nyo, from the dates in your status, it is possible that CEM have sent your MR on the 17th or 18th...

we have the same status, urbinajanice  ..... i'm worried though with the "medical" thing  :-.... last friday, when i checked ecas, it states that  it was with the VO already, no statement about when they started processing.....but i'll keep nursemich' advice..... positive....positive....positve  ..... nursemich... what's the status of your ecas?

4,000/person pero may age bracket.. pag bata mas mura

If you had previous operations, confinement dapat may clearance ka or medical record, un ung hinahanap sa mga kasabayan naming nagpamedical

WHAT AN AMAZING FEELINGS TO THOSE WHO RECEIVED THEIR MR......... I ALSO FEEL THE EXCITEMENT.

I went to the post office this morning just to inquire the status of my returned mail. Since i do not have the tracking number and it was an ordinary mail WE CAN'T TRACE IT ON THE LOGBOOK, COMPUTER ENCODING. But  basing on the date they returned it according to the postman, it should be here already. Running time 3 months and 17 days (Nov. 4 - Feb. 21) from CIO NS to Davao City. To annjay> how many months and days to be exact your docs arrived and what place. i can practice my patience......... just don't lost my IELTS hehehe

I am anxious waiting for my IELTS TRF because everything is ready to submit new set and still no IELTS yet. I am planning to request another copy via my review center.

Jan, your MR was sent to you Feb 18. (Mine was mailed a day after the date on the ecas Feb. 10, it reached our post office Feb 15). It'll reach your local post office on Feb. 22 or 23)  Sunduin na po!
