Yes, i had it last feb12... I hope I could say "madali lang", anyway, sa reading- mas madali..writing task1 letter writing mas madali compared sa graphs, writing task2-okay lang.. But the listening and speaking ko medyo hindi ako kasing confident nung first time ko magtake. Ang naging problema sa akin siguro this time is the pressure na rin, target ko kasi maka kuha ng same score at least sa acad ko nun, para mamaximize ko yung points na puede kong makuha which is 16 for language.

Sa speaking ko pala tinanung sa akin kung anung law ang ipapass ko sa community, explain why and will it be popular, why. Tapos sinundan pa ng question na you think kailangan magdala ng firearms ng police natin, followup by how about women in the police force. Sa IDP ako nagtake. BTW, kailan ka mag tetake? or nag exam ka na?

finished na rin..i sat on the feb 12 exam also..i have sentiments as you.. my interviewer naman bumubulong sa i said "sorry,would you mind repeating the question for me please?" i get distracted kase she has lots of hand gestures signifyng me to stop..tas andaming tinuturo nung kamay nya..hehe..and when she doesn't seem to like your answer she frowns..1st 5-10 questions sa listening parang di pa ko focused..sabog pa ko..antok kase..was able to pick-up nman.. :)but all in all ok naman..

they told us na the results will be released on the 24th..did they tell you the same thing?

why do you intend to take the Academic ielts? i guess for the speaking really depends on the interviewer..tha last 2 speaking ielts i had were easier..sa part 2 i was asked to speak about the best advise i have ever recevied..why was it useful, whogave the advise..have you given the same advise..you think it's important for  the person who's giving advise to have experience and/or formal training..stuff like that..was also asked to discuss about movies, if i like watching in the cinemas or at home..etc..questions in part 1 and 2 are a bit easy..

will it affect our application if we don't include DTI registration?  would it be too late if we only get a DTI registration just now?  it will be reflected there when you were registered which might be in contradict from the time you register with BIR.  it might create a notion that you did not register your clinic way back when it started. am i right capricorn?

Yes annjay, i went to DTI and they explained to me everything: If you register your practice with a business name such as "Smile Dental Clinic", "Bright Teeth Dental Office" etc then you can have your DTI Certificate BUT if your clinic label is under your name it can't be registered in DTI.

One can get a Mayor's permit if you register it as a business but here in Davao City our Mayor gave a memo that those medical/dental practitioners is in line of service not a business.

I think it will cause some query of the number of years you started your practice because they will issue a certificate on the day you register. For example i requested for a new TIN Card due to change of address and hoping that it will be in a plastic laminated card. Unfortunately, i was issued a new card but on the day they release it. My original TIN was dated May 1992 and now i am holding a TIN that is Oct. 2010 
I let my bookkeeper make a way to have my TIN on the original date.

thanks so much capricorn. at least we are now cleared as to DTI registration.  i think BIR registration & latest ITR will suffice already that you've been in the practice for how many years.  i believe ITR will be one of the basis of the CIO for your settlement/proof of funds.  affidavit of job description (for your practice as a dentist), affidavit of ownership (for your clinic) & other certificate of employment will already support that indeed your in the practice for several years plus the BIR registration that you are a registered tax payer deriving income purely from professional practice is enough already.

please advise SENIORS if there's anything i missed out. but more or less these are the docs. right?

BIR is okay, if ur not sure about the DTI kc nga ang date niya will be recently lang, u may not get one or just get it for documentary purpose w/c later on might be of help. it's good to have ur own name registered with BIR and DTI

It will also help guys if u can get a letter from ur bookkeeper that she/he has been ur bookkeeper for this long and have this written sa letterhead ng office niya (if she/he has lang), contact no. niya, but make sure na u brief them in case CEM calls.

Thanks guys!  Manila VO says we need to provide it within 60 days. We are now scheduling our medical. Also included in the letter is the timeline, within the next three to six months they will either ask for further documentation or passport for issuance of PR visas. Hope this info helps.
