Hi friends,

I notice that some of you have sent full docs within 30 days of receiving "recommendation of application forwarding" to the visa office. This means you had already taken the IELTS test before that. How long it took to get the FBI report after you mailed the finger prints? Email that my consultant recd is dated Jan 15, 2010. Does this mean that I should submit my full docs with IELTS score and FBI report within 120 days from Jan 15?

I have a question .. I am in process of collecting reference/experinece letters form employers . I did worked for some companies in india in 2006-2007 and I have experience letters from them . Now, as i am going to initiate my Green card processing as well, I would not like to submit the original letters to the canadian embassy ....

Is it possible that I submit notorized copies of all refrence letters fromprevious employers and submit an original one from the current employer ?

I am so worried about that.

Hi Simon,

Yes, you can submit notarised copies of your reference letters. But along with that you should include an explanation letter stating the reasons for non submission of originals...

I did like that for my previous employment references. Also try to include maximum proof like salary slips, bank statement reflecting salary transfer, appreciation letters, employment contract or appointment letter, resignation/relieval letter etc etc..

I got my second A.O.R. from New Delhi today by post.

sorry for the confusion. I missed the date on the fee payment form and not the authorization number.

BUT ELAR messaged me and that he missed the authorization number and his file was returned.

Just to be clear guys, mind answering some of my queries pls.

1. Do I put the 3-digit Authorization Number (For Official Use Only tag)?
2. Do I resend the old application form with the adjusted form e.g. Date the Fee payment form?

Please do provide any assistance especially those who resent their application and got their AOR afterwards.

I have submitted my initial application to CIO NS on 1st Oct.
Application received on 7th Oct.
Waiting for AOR.
NOC: 4131

I would like to request all the Oct. applicants to please mention their NOC also.
It will be helpful in monitoring the progress of cases.
