Hey Guys...I am a november 2009 applicant. I have a question to my seniors. For people who had applied from US, please let me know, how did you receive the AOR? Was it through USPS mail or UPS or Fedex or any other medium?

Hello Mailsvkp, if you mentioned your email ID in your application to CIO, Sydney - NS, then you should receive your AOR by email. On very rare cases, I have seen applicants receiving by snail-mail despite mentioning your email ID. But, if you haven't mentioned your email ID, my understanding is, you should receive it by Canada Post delivered in the US by USPS. Hope this helps. Thank you. |

HI Kyle! you are still in the process of getting all the docs done so once you rcv the AOR you shld start the processing of all the docs...am I correct?!? I selected Manila also but Im still here in USA and be home on June what if I rcv all the request docs... you got your AOR in 2mos. its quite fast  I chose Manila instead of buffalo accdg to them mnl is much faster in processing. I will send my application this week. hope to hear fr u. thanks |

Hi Everyone
I still didnt get any e-mail of my 120 days letter, but I have been trying to check the status of my application since Dec 2009 from CIC web site with my Client ID from my current work permit. Here is the real deal after checking the application status today finally it says Application Received "We received your application for permanent residence on November 2, 2009." They still didn't charged my credit card.
Is this GOOD or BED???
All your opinion will be greatly Appreciated.
