hi
I have sent my application on Oct. 8th to Sydney. I didnt send it with a tracking no, so I do not know if they received it or not. Is there any way that I can find out?

Nope,  the only way to check any progress would be your draft at your bank. But you need to wait a couple of months.

couple of months? I though that the first thing they do when they receive an application is to process the payment. Am I wrong? Or what's the procedure?

 Relax.....!! This is just the initial phase.........there are many more steps ahead..........so try to be patient.
Now coming to your question............There is NO WAY you can Track it if you did not send it through a "Tracking" delivery method . The only time u would know is when your DD gets cashed or Credit card gets charged. And that does not happen as soon as they receive it. Wait for 6-8 weeks at least.

I was reading another forum, some one in that forum called CIO Sydney yesterday and they said that they are processing applications received till 15th Sep now. And the wait time is 10 weeks. Considering this those who filed their application in first week of october should start getting AORs in the first or second week of December. I think it will be good if we start collecting our papers except PCC so that we can send our full applications to our respective CHCs as soon as we get our AOR.

hi
i would suggest to all sep and oct filers that u shud start collecting ur documents(experience, Ielts, photocopies etc. except PCC ) so that when u receive AOR u r ready to send the documents in few days instead of 120 days. that is what we have in our hands. all the best evryone.
