friends, as per my experience, please wait for response  from CIC at least for 10 weeks,
I hope all would get response with in 10 weeks.

I got e-mail for Acceptance of my application last night.

I am worried & have a question, it would be helpful if you can help in this case,

I am not sure how to get Police Clearance Record in Kolkata.

I searched in google & found that I can get it from Kolkata Passport office in one day,
I called my friend who works in same office, and he is saying different story that it may take 1 & half month to 2 month to get Police Report,
he said that I need to fill forms & Police would visit my place & then I would get Police report.

I am worried as if he is saying 45 to 60 days, then as per Indian office way of working it may take more days.

Does anybody have information how to get Police Record in Kolkata or any metro city of India.

Please help.

I am also in a similar situation and I know you will be able to help me. One way of getting the PCC is to apply for it in your local SSP office and get it from there. However I have lived in 3 different states since I turned 18. If I apply in the SSP office, I think I will have to get a PCC from every district I have lived in. However if I apply in the regional passport office, will the certificate cover all of India or just one state or district?

hi guys i m  new to hs forum . i hae appied on oct 24th . my NOC no s 3112. not got the reply yet . can anybody tell me how long it might take.whether they will send the AOR through email or through letter..?   any body got the reply from FBI?   i m in houston . i got the local police clearence certificate.

I think 10 weeks is avg 10 time. 24 Oct, you may get confirmation in First week of Jan as Nov & Dec is holiday time too.

I have a question friends,

When I sent my application to CIC, I asked my office to issue a employment letter, which is dated Oct 1.

is that valid till 90 days or 120 days? If its valid for 90 days then I will ask for new emp. letter.
