Hi

My application reached NS on 09 OCT 2009.

NS returned my application along with a letter stating that additional documentation missing. ie, I didnt sent my wife Schedule-1 BG/Declaration form seperately.

My Question: Can anyone tell me,
(1) Along with the requested additional documentation, Do I need to send  (ALL) newly filled application / the same application which I got back? (any chance will it speed up the process if I send the same application I got back? because  I am able to see NS seal in the application)
(2) Can I consider that everything is fine other than the additional documentation they requested or NS officials stop at the place where they see something is missing and then again they will revisit my application. why i am asking this is, if I apply again there may be  a chance asking for more evidence again?

Me from USA California (Indian Citizen on H1B visa), I need to know that I sent my application lastweek to Sydeny CIO (Nuova scotia) as per tracking of my courier its show me CIO recived it on last tuesday (dec 01, 2009), but I dont get any ackonledgements of reciept that they recieved my application. so, if anyone know when they informed me for my application recieved and under process or what is the proof of application recived.

the courier tracker is the only thing you will have for 65+ days as CIO is now taking 65-80 days for AOR. They don;t send any acknowledgement of application receive.

You will have to wait for at least 8-10 weeks to receive an AOR/Communication from CIO, NS regarding your application and your eligibility to proceed to next steps. That is what we are trying to track in this thread for October filers. There is no other way to know other than waiting till that time.
Your 120 days time limit to submit your full application will start from the AOR issue date. So chill till its Feb 1st-2nd week and try to gather documents if possible for the next steps.

Your only source to get Procedural information should be the CIC website.
I would recommend not to follow the suggestions in this forum without cross-checking it with the CIC website.
Use this forum to learn about the experiences people are encountering in this whole process and about the timelines etc.

Hey everyone...I sent my application on Oct 7th and they received it on Oct. 14th. I have not heard anything from them yet and they have not charged my Credit card either.
It is definitely slowing down compared to January when my application was processed and sent to Buffalo in 1 month. Unfortunately, I didnt receive their notice and didnt realize they had approved it. They waited 4 months and closed my file.
