Hi friends

I am eligible to apply for FSW under eligible occupation list due to my previous experience, but I will complete my one year canadian experience in coming May ( I have been a graduate student in canada for two years and working part time for the period). I am so confused whether I should apply now as FSW, or wait till may for CEC?

My experience letters from India do not say full time work, and do not explain duties in detail. Because I am in Canada and can not get these letters again. Can I write something in cover letter to clarify this issue.

Thanks for your guidance...please help me to solve it

Hello my friend,

Before you decide how would you apply first do your IELTS test. You have to know what your score is.
Unfortunatelly i did not do that and first I have applied under CEC category and ther refused my application becose my IELTS score was not enough for my NOC ocupation. After that i applied again under FSW class and i am waiting for Medical request.

If everything is ok CEC is faster and easier  way to become PR in Canada.

Do not make the same mistake like myself.Do your IELTS first (it is now valid 2.years) and find are you eligible or not for your NOC ocupation.

I have done my IELTS and got 7.0 overall. What you say should I go ahead for FSW? I am afraid if rules change till May 2012 for  CEC. So dont wanna miss this chance. How much time it will take if I apply for FSW from Canada. Is there any plus point??

I am really happy that you replied me... Smiley

Find first is 7 IELTS enough for your NOC before your apply.
CEC is 10.monts process only 99% .It is better to apply under CEC my friend. And faster Cool
For FSW you never know what are they going to do.First they promisse process for maximum 1.year and after that they stop all process.
If you go under CEC you will not make mistake.
Thats my opinion
