Hello,
I am currently based in USA and have been working here as a Business Analyst for the past 6 years. I wish to relocate to Canada and wanted to know the exact code under which I should be applying for the Federal Skilled Worker category. Am I eligible to apply in this category based on my profession? I have a Masters degree and have given the TOEFL (test of english as a foreign language) as well. I am meeting the required points when i take a free assessment, but was not sure which exact code I should apply within the federal skilled worker category..Can someone please let me know? Thanks in advance and I appreciate your help in this matter.

TOEFL won't be accepted. You must take IELTS.

If you want to apply as a Federal Skilled Worker and do NOT have a job offer in Canada, then the following occupations are the only ones accepted.

thanks for the prompt reply. I found a couple of codes related to my current profession. 0213 Computer and Information Systems Managers , Information Systems Analysts and Consultants (2171). Are these applicable within the FSW class and which exact one should I go for? please guide me.. thanks again for your help in this matter.

No, they are not in the list of "29" eligible occupations.

Marketing and Advertising Professionals including Advertising Specialist, Market Research Analyst, Marketing Specialist, Public Relations Professionals.

 Business and Organisational Analysts including Management Consultant, Organization and Methods Analyst, Information and Organisational professionals. Even IT professional performing operational and organisational roles may be considered under this occupational classification
