Emdivoo and saw. do not worry it is only a matter of time. it normally takes 4 - 5 weeks for medicals to be passed and after that they will ask for your passport(s) and any remaining documents required to finalize ur visa issuance. it takes another 4-5 weeks to send you back the passport(s) with visa(s) affixed on it along with CPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) document.
Saw as for your friend who did medical in October 2011 and they asked for his passport in January, that was due to the Cairo office Quota of FSW visa for 2011 was completed and they had to wait till 2012 to issue new Visas.
My advice to you send e-mail to inquire about your status and provide then with dates when medicals were done

Thank God I though I am the only one in here !!!! My Medicals received by London Office on 03/13/2012 03:15 PM but still no Passport's Request?
Congratulations for Emdivoo! I will be waiting for mine.. but I am starting to getting anxious, any ideas??

The phone calls are pretty common. For many folks they ended up calling almost all the numbers provided by the applicant in the application. One case i read they called her (applicant) boss, immediately they called (applicant) to cross check to see if any discrepancy, they called her husband and then they also called up her mother. One thing i never heard or read is the weeks' deadline for sending POF. Usually they give 30 to 60days for the POF. I would say that since they are asking you for the POF it means they might be satisfied with your application and want to continue for the next steps. Regards, NM423 |

Thanks for your congratulating  About being rejected at this stage it will be only if something wrong with your medical reports. About the time you are waiting from my experience with Cairo visa office I think it is normal |
