What NOC did you apply under. I predict if your NOC is in the list, you will get a medical request before mid august.

i think they have a lot of applications on their file. They are going by month of application i think. I got my AOR in February. I dont know if they are going by application date or AOR date but think its application date.

i applied in Dec to Sydney and got an AOR in Jan.
I applied in Feb to Visa office and got an AOR from them in Feb.

If you look at trackitt, they are processing application more or less in order of receiving them and not AOR date so your name should be coming up soon.

Hi Kishore,
They may transfer you file to different consulate line New York, Detroit, Los Angeles if required to expediate and streamline processing. After that medicals and so forth....But, it all depends on how fast the files are moving in Buffalo....right now they are still on the first week of September 2008.

Patience....is needed...

Hi,

I also have my file submitted to buffalo.

Application Sent: Nov. 2008
AOR Received: Mar. 2009
Ecas status: Application Received

I think base on trackitt, that they are just processing AOR received on or before Feb. 2009. IMO

Anyone hear anything from Buffalo this week???
Heard somewhere that they are still trying to figure out what to do with files between March and October '08 before the 38 Job list was published.... i don't know if it is true or not??
Anyone applied through a lawyer, ask them and let us know...

They must have figure out what they are going to do because on trackitt, there are people who have been declined and people who have had their medical request.

The percentage is quite low; could be the time factor, but most of the applications denied are approved because of the 38 job list within that timeframe.
It seems that Immigration Consultants for Canada all over the world have filed a complaint for application between that timeframe to be exempted from the magic 38 list...that's the reason i asked if anyone is using a consultatnt to enquire about it
