I have sent my application on Oct-07, 2011.
FSW 2145 (petroleum engineer), from Turkey (currently MSc student in US).
Status: I have not heard back, my CC is not encashed yet, and I didnt receive my documents back. Simply no response yet.
Did you hear back from them yet? or your CC encashed?

this is very strange that october applicants didn't get any response yet, as the trend was very clear; encashment in 2 months and PER or NER by the third month
so if you didn't get any answer yet then definitely i didn't
i'm 2 weeks later than you
i hope we hear any news in the coming days

dear ahmed,
i want to tell you that the cap for NOC3131 has been reached in the beginning of september and september applicants received their applications back
so, expect it very soon and send it back when the cap opens in next july ISA
just renew the bank draft

NOC 3131 Applications sent in october are coming back because of the filling of CAP ..I GOT THE MAIL FROM CIC THAT THE CAP HAS BEEN REACHED OF 3131...

Hi everyone,
I still dont know what practically "PER" is;
and Im not even encashed yet though , although more than 3 months passed after Oct - 9.
Im kinda losing my hope, I think the caps are full already.
Probably I gotta reapply in June 2012..

am also an october applicant. i have only received response from cic that they received my application and a file number with a uci number.but am yet to get my PER.did any of you received an automated mail from cic?

My NOC is 2145 petroleum engineering. Does it make any difference for the very first review?

I did not receive any emails or anything. My visa is not encashed either yet. yesterday when I called (Jan-11) They said they are reviewing the files that they received on Oct-01.

according to the website of CIC , the cap for NOC3131 was reached on December , i was monitoring the site till the application was received from cic , and the cap wasn't reached yet , is it mention else where that the cap reached on sept ?
Note: i didn't get any reply , Nor the papers..
