Hi friends lets discuss timelines and progress in this thread of applicants in FSW category with AEO after Feb 2008 (after the new rules).
Mine is as follows.

London UK office
Application sent 10th FEB 2009
AOR - not received but after 40 days my lawyer sent an email which was replied with file number and mentioning that they started processing my application on 12th FEB 2009.

Then still waiting.......

So friends please discuss your experiences ... and timelines.....

I HAVE APPLIED WITH AEO IN AUG.2008 AND I REACIEVED AOR IN FEB 2009 WITH FILE NO.

AND NOW THERE IS WRITTEN MY STATUS THT UR FILE HAS BEEN TRANSFERED TO SYDNEY NOVA SCOTIA.

I AM CONFUSED WHY THEY HAVE SENT THERE.

Hi Kash,
I recd my file no on Feb 10 2008 and still no response from the visa office even when i check the status online nothin appears.
My lawyer told me you might get a reply by Feb/Mar 2010.. Lets wait till then hopefully.

as i have said that my file has been trasfered to nova scotia

now after writting so many letters to canadian high commssion they have replied that they have transfer my application by mistake and now after one month when nova scotia has sent back my file , there is no response from them

and my ecase status says tht the file transfer to delhi

just see the working of cic

I applied with AEO to Buffalo on March 25th 2008, received AOR on June 24th 2008 and have not heard anything since. I used an agency to assist me so now they placed a request about almost 2 months ago for CAIP notes which we have not yet received. I am confused as to why it is taking this long to get medicals even with an AEO. Don't know and confused HuhHuh

Applied on 23rd dec 2008 with AEO. AOR recieved on 02 april 2009. No contact from then.Status chaged from proceesing application on XXXX to recieved application for permanent Residence on XXXX

I applied in Aug 2008, file transferred in Dec 08 to nova scotia, got the letter from nova scotia Jan 08 eligible for applying, submit docs in 120 days, submit docs in April 2009, got the letter with new file number in May 09. The latest is docs pending review. So everything so far so good!

This is the time frame I faced so you all will have an idea how they work.

Let me know if you want to know any thing more.

I applied in March 2008 at new delhi and was provided with a file number BXXXXXXXXX.On 12/01/2009 recived a letter from new delhi to send a full application . Full application with all the documents sent on 24/04/2009.Application recieved at new delhi visa office on 27/04/09.After that there is no communication from new delhi vis office and also i can not see my estatus online.Please advise on line of action at this point.

Dear No action needed! When I submitted the docs I got the file number different from the first one! So you have to wait for atleast 6 weeks and I am sure they will write back to you!
