Me too. feb 2006 -AOR. Do you think it is more advisable to withdraw and reapply under the new system? Can I get a full refund if I withdraw now? So frustrating, the embassy can't even send any notice /advice if how long to wait or better to withdraw.

Why withdraw?  If you qualify under the Ministerial instructions http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp (same occupations for July/01) just apply as a FSW1.  You can have both a pre C-50 application in process and post C-50 application in process.
